Whenever I visit Chicago I never miss out on getting a vegetarian arepa! The mango lemonade is amazing too. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!
The empanadas are awesome anf also the chocolo arepa, I recommended.
Lovely Columbian food and juices. Love all the arepas, and the arroz con pollo from the lunch menu is a lot of value. I keep coming back!
ArePA George quickly became our family’s go-to when we moved to the west side of Humboldt Ave. This place is a total gem- the food is perfect every time, the arepas and empanadas are unique and you can taste the quality of ingredients. My children beg for their fancy drinks- the coconut lemonade is quite a treat. Online ordering has been tricky at times and our order has been forgotten or missed more than once- but that doesn’t affect my 5 star review because1. They went above and beyond to fix the issues with our order when it happened and2. The food is just so good, one bite and you forget there was ever a problem ?Do yourself a favor and try their arepas. You’ll be hooked too.
ArePA George catered our staff training (ChicagoCares) earlier this week. The food, service and attention to detail was impeccable.The experience brought me back today to try some new items (ArePA vegetarian), empanada (cheese and cheese with plantain), Lind's salad, Mango Lemonade and my absolute favorite their salsa. I could eat it by the spoonful. I highly recommend them for catering or a Columbian getaway in the restaurant.
I met up with a friend today here. We were the first to arrive and everything came out fresh and delicious. Great service excellent food! I will definitely go back again and again.
Catered here for my daughter's birthday. Everyone loved everything! Flavors were so good! Sauces were great! Highly recommend! I drove all the way from oak lawn... And I'd do it again.
ArePA George is soooo delicious. Their empanadas are made fresh and are served with savory sauces. Any arepa with a jugo de maracuya (passion fruit) con leche (with milk) and a side of plátanos (sweet plantains) is one of my favorite meals there!
My favorite place in Humboldt Park n actually in chicago, their empanadas are the best and corn, I’d had only flour before, non Colombian, and i can say these are the best by far, their arepas are to die for , i usually get the chicken in creole sauce but I’ve tried all of them, their meat dishes are excellent too and excellent soups. Everything is super delicious and the staff are super sweet
