The food used to be so delicious here and the service so friendly. I have literally eaten here hundreds of times. Now, the food takes a long time to be prepared and it tastes three times reheated. Their seasoning is good, and their options are good, but you can tell the food is older. The prices have also gone up by 30%.To add insult to injury, no one is wearing a mask on the staff. They wear it around their neck, I'm guessing in case an official comes in. I truly recommend going kitty corner to Sukhadia's
Annapurna restaurant's dosas are a thing that never disappoint their customers. I've tried their Veg Biryani once but I don't think it should be called biryani per se. Though it tasted good, it just didn't taste like biryani. It was more like Bisibele Baath without the pigeon peas. Even their Pav Bhaaji isn't up to the mark but it isn't the worst in the world. One should visit Annapurna for their solid quality in dosas for sure. And all the other items on their menu, meh.. you can try them but you won't be able to love them if you are looking for something truly South Indian.
A fast food kind of jaunt for South Indian food. Their dosas are good but not great. The coconut chutney is a disappointment. They do not serve filter coffee but have pan boiled milky coffee (latte), it os a disappointment. They are good for the money spent.
Pathetic food. They should close down. This is not how we Indians eat. Who puts bhel in a dahi chaat? Who refries samosa 10 times which is cold from inside and filled with excess oil?!!!Dabeli was disappointing as well. Poor service too.
When it comes to our visits to Devon, this is the restaurant we go to for getting our fill of Indian food. We really love the dosa and pani puri at this location. It is also centrally located along the strip so if you have other activities in the area, it is easy to get everything done in one fell swoop.
Food tastes great, but ordered curbside pick multiple times but they don't answer calls. I had to park my car and go in to take out. If they are busy serving customers please don't offer curbside pickup.
We waited about 30 minutes. Food was tasteless. We ordered naan which was made frozen naan. We are not here to eat frozen food. We had good experience with same restaurant in Schaumburg. That’s the only reason we decided to eat here. Very big and oily bhature was given us. I would not waste my money here again. We didn’t eat at all.
Great place for vegetarian food. We tried the Gujrati thali, Puri bhaji, sugarcane juice and Sitaphal ice cream. I expected the thali to be authentic Gujrati but was a bit disappointed. However, the food tasted great as-is. Sitaphal ice cream was not great. Sugarcane juice was the show stopper
Not sure what is this cart or a restaurant. The cashier is rude and the food needs lots of improvement. Does not taste like it suppose to be looks like they use box food and microwave and serve. Prices are super jacked up not recommended.
Been noticing this place for a while cuz of the exotic name. Was passing by on Devon and saw the 100% veg South Indian sign and got an urge for some Dosa, place was decent packed for a Wednesday night. Tried the masala dosa - total disappointment, was cold and was left with heartburn ❤️?? being on Devon Ave you would think it would be pretty authentic but most Devon places have become a disappointment, could’ve gone to Udupi. Plus almost 11 bucks for a mysore masala dosa was a rip off…Unfortunately, this place left a lot to be desired.
