Had a surprisingly terrible experience at this location today, after years of loving all things Ann. Terrible service: after sitting for 15 minutes I finally had to ask for a menu. My salad was terrible: the cucumber slices had freezer burn, the over-sweet dressing was not the promised balsamic and the chicken breast was more like dried chicken crumbles. What’s going on here?Granville location, only the breakfast menu was on the placemat: the lunch menu was a separate card. Didn’t report anything, the staff was difficult to nab and I felt my uneaten salad said it all. I just wanted to get out asap and get a decent lunch.

Always a big fan of Ann Sather no matter the location! I don't go to this one too often, but if I'm in Edgewater it's a great breakfast spot. You have to try the cinnamon rolls (of course) but I'd recommend sharing them or getting them on the side of a light meal. This meal can get heavy really quickly, but you can always take things home!

Wonderful breakfast place that is well known for their HUGE homemade cinnamon rolls. Honestly, it’s worth it to go for the cinnamon rolls alone. All of the breakfast dishes I’ve had from here were absolutely delicious. The crabcake egg Benedict and biscuits and gravy are my go to options but any choice at Ann Sathers is a good one. They also have BYOB so you can bring your own champagne and they supply the orange juice. This location does not have parking so take the red line! Wait usually isn’t terrible, service is good.

My favorite food whenever I go somewhere for breakfast or brunch is Eggs Benedict. I got the crabcake Benedict and it was the absolute best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had in my life and that is definitely saying something because I have had so many Eggs Benedicts. it was sweet and the eggs were perfectly cooked and I nearly cried while eating it it was absolutely spectacular.

Just tried this place for the first time! I read the reviews and was super excited to try. First - the cinnamon buns were soooo good and i have a close friend who loves them so I definitely want her to try them from here soon. Second - there wasn’t a meatball side option on DoorDash so I asked if they could include one because I really wanted to try it, and they did! It was really good and I appreciate it :)) The biscuits and gravy tasted a lot more homemade then other places which I also appreciated ! All in all, I will definitely be eating here again <3 thank you ! (I also might have left this review at the other location, I’m sorry LOL

I ordered the Steak and Benedict’s. I received a piece of well done meat, barely salted in a piece of bread and two pocked eggs and a little plastic ctr with regular tasting hollandaise sauce. That was $15. The hash browns were awful as well. Best part of my meal was the cinnamon buns with the coffee, the rest, very bland and flavorless.

Unique menu with the most enormously generous portion of cinnamon rolls that come with each meal: two huge cinnamon rolls with everything omelette or egg dish. Yes that is crazy and they have fantastic hash browns and drop biscuits (yes you can get two of those as well.).This place is very high quality made from scratch breakfast food and is very much worth the money. Also Ann Sathers has that special unique feel that makes you realize it’s a very special place that once you go it stirs your heart to think about. It’s pretty wonderful but too indulgent to go daily for sure.

Wow those cinnamon rolls!! And you get TWO of them as a SIDE! The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was delicious and they offered several choices of cheeses to add to their homestyle hash browns (I chose Swiss). I loved the paintings on their walls - great conversation starters. I will definitely visit for breakfast again the next time I'm in Chicago.

Out only place for cinnamon rolls and biscuits!

I've only ever had their coffee, cinnamon rolls, and other pastries. Today I was there for a light breakfast of coffee and a muffin after many months of having to stay away, like everyone else, on account of Covid. I had the bottomless coffee with a delicious, warm muffin (served by such a lovely waitress, who told me it was her mother's favorite), and looked out the window at the passers-by, and things were almost back to normal for a half hour or so... I also took home a brownie, which is the real thing: moist on the inside, as a brownie should be. It was lovely all around.*UPDATE* November 25, 2021I had my Thanksgiving lunch there today ($26.85 + tax, which is very reasonable) and was served by Paddie. I am not exaggerating when I say that everything was perfect. The food was perfect in quantity and in quality: A bowl of delicious chicken soup, a large plateful of turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, asparagus, their famous cinnamon roll and two pieces of their other in-house made cakes, apple pie topped with whipped cream... Everything was simply delicious. Paddie's service was outstanding. The ambiance was casual and welcoming, yet so professional. To say that I had a marvelous time is not overstating it. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
