The shrimp was very chewy. The waitress only came to our table one time to give us our food. She never came back to check up on us. I had to get up and get the paper towels myself. She didn’t do anything to earn a tip at all, I felt like we were eating inside of an empty room. As I was leaving she yelled across the restaurant “ hey where is my tip”. This place is a joke, rude and ignorant. I used to like this place, today was the last time I’ll eat there. I’m going to check my bank account, she made me feel uneasy with my debit card information
Criminally underrated spot for excellent quality seafood. Prices are more than fair and the Thai chili sauce alone makes it worth the trip. Will be coming back.
I think I would order the exact same things the next time I go. The service was excellent and the place was packed all night. I know he can do it so I tried to convince my friend to make me some homemade pasta but he said it was too labor intensive (happy birthday!). Hmph.
What a find!! First of all, I called ahead to make sure we wouldn’t have to wait for a table and then we ended up being late. I called to let them know and they were super accommodative.When you walk in you can see it is one of those cool trendy places but it still felt cozy.You get a bib, which is really useful but I also feel like that can sometimes bring down the elegance of a place. And that’s where the servers come in to play they are so incredibly sweet they genuinely care how your food tastes. They themselves make it more “fancy”, for lack of better terms.It’s BYOB so we brought our own champagne. They provided us with pretty glasses and even an ice bucket!!!!!!!Ok to the food- we mostly got two types of shrimp, sausage, and mixed vegetables.I wasn’t sure if the sausage would be good with the shrimp but let me tell you it was awesome. Every single sauce was delicious. We very briefly mentioned it was our Anniversary and at the end they surprised us with a super cute dessert. Plus the price is incredible for the amount of food you get and it’s spectacular. Definitely will be returning and I have already told so many friends about this hidden gem
Took 40min to get my cajun combo, and they automatically add 20%gratitude, not worth it. There’s no meat in king crab nor snow crab, only shell. everything cooked frozen and very bad service that you need to ask for everything, napkin, water, gloves…etc

Should’ve read recent reviews before coming here. The food is below mediocre, hardly anything is delicious and special. But we were comparing to our experience from Florida and San Diego. So we were thinking maybe Chicago is just too far from big waters and with that were just swallowing some frozen cheap shrimp and tasteless craw fish and didn’t complain. With no higher expectations you can eat here. Our bill for 2 was pretty high, we ordered some extras to the combo. The server just brought food once, we didn’t have appetizers, nothing extra like salad or bread comes with the food. So we thought we were leaving a decent tip, considering there is no real rush around us for the server. We were questioned and judged, however, at the end why we were leaving only 15% tip. The cashier was very offended by our tip. “Was service bad? Why are you only leaving 15% tip?”. I told her, yes 15%, have a good night. Is this now a bad manner to leave good tip, you have to consider the % to overpriced mediocre food? The whole experience of coming here was course ruined, and mediocre aftertaste of the food now tastes even less than it probably was.
Went here last night and within two hours of being home - food poisoning! I spent my Halloween miserable.Don’t go to this place unless you want that and want to listen to every song that Taylor Swift has ever released for the entire time that you are there. Nothing else played.
Gotta try one of their boils!
