The team at Amli Lofts have been so helpful and accommodating! I worked with both Hope and Chris and they made everything so seamless. I was in a difficult situation and they helped me solve it with no stress at all. I cannot thank them enough!

Overall great experience at AMLI Lofts! AMLI has the best layouts, complete with tall ceilings, lots of built-in storage, ceiling fans, and large closets. Gorgeous view of Sears from the pool, and a good location overall - 5 minutes from the Red line and several bus stops, plus walking distance to the Roosevelt Collection. Nikki was great when we moved in and the front desk staff and maintenance team are second to none.

Had a great tour with, Nikki! Awesome space do not live here yet but plan to soon. The units were spacious and beautiful well finished down to every last detail. The tour was fluid and Nikki was very friendly. The building was well thought out and full of awesome amenities. The staff (front desk) we met were friendly and helpful. Residents seemed happy when we met or encountered them. LEED certified!

Lived in three buildings in the South Loop within the past 5 years and this place hands-down reigns supreme. Eastern view is unobstructed by a secluded, two-story community right across the block, which really gives an expansive view of the northernmost South Loop. This view is simply amazing throughout all four seasons of the year, day and night. The decor all throughout the building has a perfect blend of class and chic. Gotta love the modern amenities: gym, pool, coffee stations, private business room, sectioned-off study rooms, cozy lounge with television and classic gaming, and several outdoor patios, too. Plenty of places for the introvert to hide away to and for the extravert to thrive. I think it’s worth mentioning here that the staff are all extremely hospitable. As for the pet owners, they have a private dog park in the back that is regularly maintained (not some dark, back alley with a hole in a ground for your dog to bend over, like some places I’ve seen.) However, one thing that I think is worth mentioning is that there’s a decent sized plot of grassland right next door. Really, I find this whole section of the South Loop to be perfect for dog owners. On a similar note, there is something about this area in particular that feels much safer than the other parts of the South Loop that I’ve lived in. Even the people on the street seem friendlier. To conclude, all I can say at this point is that I wish I would've chosen this place first when I had moved out here to the city.Check it out!

I lived in Amli for 4 years and would have stayed had I not decided to try burb life. From front desk personnel (Darius & Tia), maintenance (Jose, Oscar, Jesus), leasing staff (Nikki, Hope, Chris) and their manager Heather, all are top notch. All are always friendly, helpful and excellent when it comes to customer service. My experience at Amli Lofts was nothing short of exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to move back. The building is in a wonderful location, units have functional layouts and like mine, great city views and super dog friendly. I will miss it and the entire crew! Thank you for the memories Amli!

I lived at AMLI lofts at 850 South Clark st. for a few months and I can say that this was one of my preferred places to live. There are a few reasons that I will cite:- The building is really clean, it smells good (I love this feature) and it has an environmentally friendly atmosphere which I really like;- The apartments are good, spacious bathrooms and high ceilings;- Management is very good. The staff from the reception to the manager are very helpful. I particularly want to quote Darius in the reception, Niki and Joseph from the office. Excellent professionals and very nice people.- The common areas are 5 stars. I felt amazed in the well-planned and super handy common work areas. I really used them.- I couldn't forget the Starbucks cafe available 24h, fantastic!Certainly, I would definitely live in AMLI again.Thank you, guys! I'll be back there soon to get a coffee and chat.Jane

I have lived here for over 6 years but now I have to move for my job. Overall was very happy with the experience. The management team seems genuinely concerned about the residents and the community. Before the pandemic we had monthly socials catered by the wine bar/restaurant in the building - wine, beer, small plates and sometimes even a DJ. Even during the pandemic there are frequent resident appreciation days with gifts and food from local vendors and small businesses, for example bundt cakes last week as well as contests with prizes. Maintenance is very responsive usually shows up within hours, the next day at the latest. Apartment itself efficient layout, tons of cabinets and closet space; my favorite features are I have a brick wall in the unit (technically I think it's a brick veneer, but it looks and feels real enough...) and hanging light fixtures in the kitchen - I replaced the original fluorescent bulbs that were in there with vintage Edison bulbs the apartment has a nice warm glow in the evening. the bedrooms in the one-bedroom units are 11 X 16; I couldn't find a bedroom this big anywhere in south loop so this is also a huge bonus. Super high speed internet included in rent - it's gone out 2-3 times max in the 6+ years I lived here. Silver IP is the provider it's amazingly reliable; I called them once - an actual person answered the phone! Pool deck and roof deck amazing views of Chicago downtown including Sears Tower. Gym is well stocked and maintained. Professional grade stair stepper and two kinds of ellipticals are my favorites. There are a few cons to be aware of: The biggest issue is elevators. Two per building and at least one is perpetually broken, for 6+ years now. Management tries to fix them timely, but if it's a weekend or holiday the elevator can be down for several days, and the very next day it's broken again. There is something fundamentally flawed with the elevators here; Amli really needs to have a certified elevator repairman on their staff given the perpetual and systemic nature of this particular issue. We had some pipes burst a few years ago during the deep freeze which flooded neighboring units - i.e. mine. I'll give Amli credit within less than a week they had all new floors installed in my unit. It's a non-smoking but some people do smoke pot here not sure that citations are given as frequently as they should. Crime is an issue in all Chicago and yes, reports of stolen bikes, cars broken into and I've been home here personally on a few occasions when someone was roaming the halls pulling on door handles in attempt to enter unlocked units. There's a fire station nearby and it can sometimes be noisy with fire trucks and ambulances coming down Polk St.

Best Living Experience in 10+ Years! My wife and I lived at AMLI Lofts for 3.5 years and can honestly say that this was the best living experience we have had while living in Chicago for close to a decade (South Loop & West Loop). The entire Building Staff are 100 / 10!!! The Front Desk (Shout out Monica, Jade & Devon!), the Management Team the Maintenance Team and even the call center - all fantastic to work with & each team member goes out of their way to build relationships with the tenants. Can honestly say we got choked up at the move out due to the realization that we were saying see you later to the Building Staff. Quick responses and actions to ALL INQUIRIES that come with living in a large apartment community. Same day services (usually within an hour of requesting i.e. any housekeeping or service request). Safe and protected i.e. packages, mail, etc - there is a real level of Living Safety that comes with living here that you would otherwise take for granite... Never had to worry about lost/stolen/damaged property or belongings and can always count on the staff and the community to be good people. There is a real family bond that is built while living at AMLI Lofts!!!! Would recommend to anyone and everyone who is a decent human (bad people stay clear, we dont want you!!!) - Only reason we left is my wife comes from southern roots and it was time to be done with winters!!!UPDATE: Read some of the previous reviews (looking at you Colleen 5 Months ago) put some context to the review amenities were mostly restricted due to COVID Policies... tough to knock a building following protocols set in place by the local Gov. IMO the building did the best job managing under the circumstances. Anyone complaining about "Free Breakfast" being gone just has a big dump in their pants... get down there earlier. Walls paper thin - this claim is just false. Can you hear loud music...sometimes sure, but that heard in halls/elevators - I cannot recall hearing another tenant's activities while in the comfort of our apartment(s) we stayed in multiple units. Management and the staff were always helpful but I can understand being a little less enthused to provide help to a tenant complaining the he/she did not make it downstairs early enough for FREE BREAKFAST!!! What a country!!!!!

Very great experience living here! Leasing office team is very helpful and professional!

Finding an apartment was tough during the height of a pandemic. Nikki at the leasing office made it easy and went above and beyond to help us with things like measurements when we couldn't be there to tour in person. Since we have moved in the staff has been attentive and it has been a great experience so far! If you need a place in the loop with great access to transportation and a friendly staff AMLI Lofts is your ideal location!
