Yes this place! i have been eyeing this place forever its on my way back to the office but they close alittle too early for my work schedule 6pm on most days and 3pm on Saturday and close on Sundays but man they are worth figuring out... cause boy let me tell you all comfort food... its feel good food for yo life.. and the famliy that own and works the restaurant are super sweet. The wife give us a free pozole to go since they were closing up and I should of paid for the whole pot ? delicious ?
Aloha Wagon is always in season, during the winter months they serve warm and comforting pozole, give it a try if it's on the menu. During lent they serve crispy panko crusted fish, it's flaky and flavourful. Anything you try will be a hit, the food is flavourful and the portions huge I always have enough for 2 meals.
Absolutely delicious!Ordered mixed plate with bbq chicken and the chicken katsu. The sauce had just a hint of spice ?, the seasoning of the bbq was perfect! Looking forward to visiting again to try the fish
Amazing food, amazing staff and outstanding service. Aloha Wagon as soon as you walk in, you feel like you are on the island. Everything on the menu is fresh! Hefty portions. Love the new sit in location! Will def be back!
This place is a favorite among my coworkers and I. We talk about it every shift. Everything on the menu is amazing! I think it’s run by a family, they have the cutest picture of their kids in the corner of the restaurant and you can really tell the food was made with love.
Hard to find Hawaiian food in Chicago so definitely a gem in the neighborhood! Great food options and portions are huge. Highly recommend!
Haven't been since they were closer to Rush Hospital, so glad they are still around. My burger was grilled so well and enjoyed it with fries.Whenever I'm back in the area I'll go back.
This was my first time eating at the new location, so I haven’t had Aloha Wagon in well over a year since the previous location closed. Had it today and it’s just as good as I remember! Friendly service with great food! I’ve never been disappointed!
Delicious and affordable food! I had spicy pork and the plate was big enough for two meals.Well maintained restaurant, friendly folks, accepts cards, Google pay, etc.
