Was definitely worth a stop! I really regret not adding cheese to mines. Food was good. They have polish sausage that us being from Texas we were not too fond of, does not mean it's not good. Different regions expect different tastes or are accustomed to different things. Still a greatplace with a great friendly staff. Some of the best we experienced in Chicago. Great job guys thank you! If you're wondering on pricing we roughly spent about $30.00 for two people. So yes it's very affordable.
Yes! We roadtripped with our 3 boys from MN and Al's was the first place we stopped! It was so good! Italian Beef with spicy peppers dipped in gravy, the flavor is explosively delicious! I can't wait to go back!

It's said that Al got his recepie after completing a quest for Jupiter himself and the hot relish recepie was acquired through a battle of wits with Mars, God of War. The bread that Al's dipped sandwiches are made with is baked by monks in a secret underground monastery where they swear an oath of celibacy and symbolically "marry" the art of creating perfect loaves of bread exclusively for Al's Beef. The monks are forever bound in servitude and perfection thanks to an ancient blood pact made on the banks of the Tiber River between their sect of bakers and Al's ancestors. Itialian sausages are nicely grilled and tasty as well.

They wouldn’t serve me because I didn’t have a mask I asked I asked if I can purchase a mask they said they don’t have any but the employees are not wearing a mask either ??♂️ All the employees are wearing their mask just around your ears you can see their nose mouth all of their face The older lady told me I have to leave but she’s not even wearing a mask I think if you’re going to enforce this policy so strongly they should have mask for customers either free or be able to purchase one I also asked if they can serve me outside or I can pay over the phone with a credit card they offered no possible option and not even polite about it I respect the policy for everyone safety but why not make some sort of possibility and or be polite about it ? So if the employees mask is only covering their Chin what are they protecting ??♂️I really feel that if you’re going to enforce this policy that they should be wearing a mask covering their mouth and nose. And should I offer a free mask or one for purchase and I was extremely polite and courteous like always but that was not appreciate it at all they just continue to treat me rudely y??????
