I really love this place. It is one of the very few coffeeshops on the south side. This is a great place to work (from home). The artwork is wonderful and the coffee is great. Highly recommend!
Cute shop, quick service.I ordered a wrap; it was pretty middle of the road. My friend said the coffee that she ordered was good. Great ambiance - a soft mix of oldies and contemporary music playing. No public bathrooms, so plan your visit accordingly.
I have been to A Cup of Joe a couple of times now and have had a great time. The food and most importantly, the drinks, are unique yet delicious. It’s a great/comfortable place to work or just sit and catch up with friends. Awesome vibes all around. And must say, the manager/owner is quite handsome (lol) and seems very friendly.
On our way from the airport, we saw this place and decided to stop for a quick coffee and so glad we did. Got an iced caramel macchiato, red velvet latte and a red velvet cupcake; all were delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the coffees and the cupcake was moist, with a smooth creamy cream cheese icing. Would recommend ?
My favorite coffee place. Been coming since it opened. So many great options. The cupcakes are very original and tasty. I even had my daughters birthday cake made by them. Everyone kept asking me where I got the cake from. So good. Love getting my black coffee from COJ as well. My daughter hasn’t met a drink from here that she didn’t like. Her favorite is the red velvet. Oh and they have tamales on the weekend! The staff is friendly. I always feel like I’m coming to a friends house when I stop in.As far as prices are concerned, this is a small business and in my opinion the drinks and food are well worth the price. It amazes me how people will spend $8 on a drink at Starbucks but then expect a small business to charge $4 for a similar drink.Stop by and give them a try!
Amazing coffee, authentic with its beautiful ties to Mexican culture through the artwork displayed and even menu items! I was recommended the Esperanza with a shot of espresso and it was amazing. If you’re looking for a coffee shop that gives a warm soothing vibe of feeling at home, this is the coffee shop for you.
For my student teaching, I partnered up with A Cup of Joe to have my students' work displayed! This project focused on creating a work of art based on their emotions. They had a great time sharing their feelings with one another and painting! Thank you A Cup of Joe for your help! The kids are going to be so happy to see their art in a coffee shop!! ☕️ ?
Love love love this place! They've got such a great space to grab some coffee and read! I got the red velvet latte and it was so damn refreshing. Highly recommend visiting this place and chillin out here! My only issue is that they don't have a restroom for those longer hangout sessions here. Aside from that, the decor and service is truly a gift.
Was going to give 4 stars only because they took out the couch area. And for me that really adds a lot to the cafe vibe. But they don’t have a restroom, even for customers. I get we’re in a pandemic, but I’ve been to many cafes since the start of Covid-19 and this has been the only place that hasn’t had a public restroom. Doesn’t add up to allow people to come enjoy a cup of Joe, get there work done and then have to leave premature because they can’t use a restroom.Aside from this, I did like the vibe and the coffee. It was clean and thankfully it was a sunny day so the room was filled with sunlight.
Their café de olla is amazing!
