I had the turkey tips and link with a side of potato salad and cornbread. They turkey tips had a yummy Smokey flavor and the meat was nice and tender. The turkey link had yummy spices. The potato salad was delicious! And the cornbread was moist! Mama Wood was probably the best thing about the BBQ. She was so sweet and kind to our whole family (15 of us) who stopped on the way home from my daughter’s college graduation. Mama gave my daughter a cake to celebrate her graduation❤️ Thanks to Wood N’ Hog and Mama for making this a wonderful ending to a wonderful occasion!

This is an amazing black owned business with awesome food and service. I came in for the first time today and so glad I did!! The jerk rib tips hit the spot, even got my mom a Togo plate!! I saw the fish come out and it looked amazing as well, will definitely try the fish next time. Do yourself a favor and check these folks out!
The best barbecue in this hick town!!!! Tell them I said it LOL haven't had a bad batch of jerk wings or turkey tips or fried green tomatoes or macaroni and cheese or potato salad those brothers and sisters know what the f u c k they doing in that kitchen unlike the competitors
New to this area and decided to try Wood N’ Hog Barbecue. When I say this is by far the best rib tips I’ve had in quite awhile! Ample portion on the large order, meat was very tender and the sauce… The sauce was magnificent!!! Wood N’ Hog Barbecue, you have a new fan! Thank you for a wonderful meal! 5 ⭐️
Great food and staff. Traveling thru the area and decided to check out the place. Everything is made from scratch and it did not disappoint. If I ever get that way again it will be a planned part of the journey
Ordered online at their store square website for pick up at the Walnut St location in Champaign. Got to the store and they are closed for a private catering event.Called the Urbana store, they said there was nothing they could do and to call my bank and refuse the charge. Not "I'm sorry", not "if you come over here we'll feed you", just "go away".It's too bad because the food is really good and the only reason for the second star.I understand mistakes can happen with the website and many other things. It's how you respond to the problem that matters.I will try to reach the store when they are open to see if they can do any better and I will update my review accordingly.
Great Spot right on the edge of downtown Champaign; the venue is quite lovely and the smoked turkey for 2 is also absolutely Amazing! This is a must have for anyone new to the area & a Will Have Again for me personally.
Excellent southern barbecue with a soul food flair. Fried Okra, Mac & Cheese, loaded baked beans and Collard Greens are all wonderful sidekicks cooked fresh at this location. The meat is smoked at the Urbana location. Whichever spot you choose, it's great barbecue!
