Best sushi in Champaign, hands down. Fresh fish and well seasoned rice. It's basically a little bar in the lobby of a student apartment building. Minimal seating. Consistent and excellent quality for the area!

My boyfriend and I came here tonight and the food was AMAZING!! We both ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl and they gave me so much salmon and avocado that I couldn’t even finish the whole thing! The salmon was so fresh!! And the SAUCE!! Absolutely perfect, amazing, and tasty sauce!! Definitely coming back here to eat again!!

The sushi rolls were a decent size. The tuna roll I got didn’t feel like it was kept at the proper temp. I got food poisoning that night. :/

I would have given them a 5, but it’s way too pricey for a small amount of food. The food was acceptable though.

$15 for the roll is little pricey than I thought, but the taste is decent.

Workers were kind and offered quick service. Sushi was great and set at a great price too. Will be returning soon!

I thought the sushi was pretty decent and not crazy expensive. I got the Alaskan roll, California roll, and spicy crab roll. Some people complained about it being a small amount of food but I disagree. The rolls I ordered came with 6 pieces but they were large compared to places that might cut the rolls into eighths so it evens out. I would definitely order again!

I cannot write a good enough review here. It was NYE, I had worked a full day and was trying my best to fulfill my tradition with my wife of a sushi dinner on NYE, 4 years running now. Not only was Sushi Man the only place that would take my order, they absolutely knocked everything out of the park. From the customer service to the food. I even did a chef's choice option and was rewarded with a beautiful tricolor sashimi. The chefs are professionals and all the staff seems warm, welcoming, and a solid addition to the city. I look forward to many more meals from Sushi Man! 10/10, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up.

The ingredients in the raw rolls we ordered tasted really fresh (California, yellowtail scallion, lobster salad). We also tried the Godzilla (which is fried) and enjoyed the variety of flavors. Other reviews comment on roll size (6 pieces) being small but split between two, we felt this was enough food and probably would have wasted rolls had we gotten more. We will be back in the future.

So delicious!! The food is super fresh! They make perfect sushi too~
