American style Korean food. If you want to taste authentic, go to Yogi.Reason why I gave 2 star is not because of it is American style, but just because of the quality of the food. Just don't get anything with "chicken" in their name because they are dry as send. There is a reason why Spon House is always empty when Yogi and Panda Express are full.
I've been to this place a few times and they serve really good food! Definitely a good trip to eat out and really consistent food. Really great service, I've had all dine in, takeout, and delivery. I've also heard from korean friends that this place is the most authentic korean food on campus.
I ordered two tacos and they give me one nearly empty, not first time. Asian shop assistant is rude. I suggest you never order spoon house online
I graduated from U of I in 2013, and Spoonhouse’s Spicy Tofu was my favorite meal back then. I was just back in Champaign for work and it was just as good as I remember! I’ll definitely be back the next time I visit.
My boyfriend and I got both the chicken bulgogi last night. Along with the burrito and a kimbap. It was so yummy. The chicken was so tasty and marinated well. I love how tender the meat was. additionally the kimbap was so tasty. I'll be back again. <3 Thank you.
The best meal I've eaten in chapmapign. The tofu tacos were outstanding- and the ingredients were so fresh! Highly recommended!
Delicious! Food was tasty and authentic to cuisine. Walls were a little dirty bit tables themselves were clean
Decent kimchi.
food was amazing and staff was very friendly. will definitely be coming back.
I liked this place until I caught a cockroach on the table while eating with friends two weeks ago. I showed the cockroach to the owner and she apologized, but I lost all my appetite.. and probably will never go back..
