Really really good burger! Had onion rings and a chocolate shake as well, everything was delicious! Burger wasn't very greasy as some other places, I enjoyed my burger (minus tomatoes!)
Excellent service this evening dining in at Portillo’s! The Champaign location is my favorite location of all and continues to never fail me! The guy who took our order was extremely friendly, however he misunderstood our order. This was not an issue as the cooks were able to give us a slice of tomato that was missed with a smile! These people work hard and seem to be with it— they definitely deserve a celebration because this is the customer service all companies should strive for!! ?✨✨
Always crowded. Service has really slipped here. Took almost 40 minutes to get out our food after ordering .
Usually I have no complaints because I think the food is good. However, I'd appreciate it if when I order something simple, the employee making the food isn't watching videos on his phone with a "manager" next to him. Of course my order was incorrect, so thanks!
Italian beef, chili cheese dogs, and Chicago dog was delicious, service was fast, manager was very helpful. Not only was the staff not confused by my (no carb) bunless option, but they literally got the WHOLE order absolutely right!!! We have been having Friday Family Fun night (mom 'n' dad but supper!) for some time and that NEVER happens. E-late-ed!
Have been dying to try their chocolate cake shake for a few years, and finally had one. It was good, could have been mixed a little more, but they were busy and having worked in the fast food industry, I completely understand. Still pretty good, will try the one near Springfield which is a little closer.
Such a fun atmosphere and the food is amazing! Don’t forget to try their cake shake! You’ll thank me for it! Don’t go their on a diet, although their salads are just as delicious too.
I heard so many positive things about this place. I was not that impressed. The meat was dry. The fries were not hot. The wait times to get the food were long despite it not being that busy. Italian beef I guess is like French dip but without giving you a side of au jus. The cake was pretty good.
one day I dropped one of my three orders and without hesitation one person got cleaned up the fries while another got me the order again.LOVE the Italian beef. every now and then, the food is nasty for some reason. but even with that 5 stars still.try this:Italian beef - however you like themcheeseburger- however you like themeat the 2 as 1 ???? and if you add fries ????
Literally disgusting and disappointing. I ordered online through Grubhub and not only were two of my three items missing but the one item I did receive, an Italian beef sandwich, the bread was so soggy I couldn’t hold the sandwich together. Completely inedible and the beef was dry as a bone.
