Very good Chinese food. Don’t try noodles however
They have the worse mapo tofu with rice I ever had in my life.
Terrible communication and customer service. They “don’t take orders” off certain sites that they offer on their Google Maps and don’t tell you until you come in and they can’t find your order. Also, place looks kinda unkempt/messy.
Food was decent for a reasonable price, menu had a lot of options, and service was very friendly. However, the place was just a bit unkept. The tables were a little sticky and the complimentary water had a weird white film on it, forcing me to buy a bottled drink. Overall, pretty decent experience and good place to go if you’re craving Asian food.
I got the vegetable noodles. The flavor was generally good, but lacking a bit. Additionally, these noodles were super oily, leaving my lips covered in a film after every bit. However, service was super friendly and drink options were very good.
(Translated by Google) The favorite Chinese restaurant here, Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, is light and delicious. I have eaten most of the dishes, and there will indeed be one or two dishes, but it is understandable that most of them are very delicious, and it is the only restaurant I have eaten that can correctly make egg-slid dishes. (In general, don’t eat boxed lunches. Boxed lunches are just so-so)(Original)这里最喜欢的中餐厅,江浙菜口味,清淡可口。绝大多数菜都吃过了,的确会有一两道雷菜,不过无可厚非,大部分都非常好吃,是我吃过的唯一能正确做出滑蛋类菜品的餐馆。(一般不要吃盒饭,盒饭一般般)
Food Poisoning
I ordered the Pork and Vegetable Noodles, which had cut pieces of pork and bok choy. The taste was authentic and the ingredients were fresh. The menu is large and if you don’t speak English it can be hard to communicate with the people working there, but overall the service was good. Portion sizes are also quite large!
One of my favourite restaurants on Green St.
Authenticated Southern Chinese food. Welcoming and dedicated owners. Will remember this place as a part of my stay in Champaign.
