Their hamburgers are the headliners but the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich is the breakout star. The chicken breast is juicy and flavourful (I did it without the seasoning), it had a nice amount of crunch to it. It is topped with a tangy slaw and pickles that provide a nice contrast to the savory deep fried chicken. The brioche bun holds up nicely. The fries are shoestring type and are heartier then the McDonald's fries everyone is acquainted with. Excellent Sandwich worth the trip.

Shown us the meats! Good food, good fries which can be shared by the table. A group of 4 guys and we all eat and we each got our own fries and onion rings and well there was plenty left over

I had a cajun chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. Loaded with some sort of spicy savory slaw. I also ordered some cheese fries that were great. Freshly cut with a spicy cheese sauce. The cheese sauce reminded me of melted cheese spread, Merkts perhaps.

Generally speaking, I think Meatheads is pretty good. It’s a good burger, they have good variety of options, and it’s good quality. A bit pricey, but a lot of burgers are anymore. The food quality is between 4-5 stars. But I arrived there at 9:10 on a Saturday night and was advised that they were closed. Their website says open until 10. Their door says open until 10. There’s even a sign on the drive thru speaker that says their “new hours” are until 10 on Saturday. So when I poked my head in the door and said “What’s up?”, I was told pretty curtly that “We close at 9” as if somehow I was supposed to gather that from the signs saying 10 o’clock. So for right now, it’s 2.5 stars (but I’ll round up). Because I would understand if it was just a one time reason and they had to close. But the excuse was “Covid 19”. So they closed an hour early for the same reason they’ve closed an hour early for the last two years, and they couldn’t bother to change a sign or website. So now I get chipotle instead, which isn’t an upgrade.

the fries taste like startch and are soggy and the burger wasn't worth the price I rather go to burger King

Way over-priced, burger was mediocre at best. Fries very soggy and tasteless. Quick service but absolute lack of quality. It would take a miracle to convince me to eat there again.

The person sounding bored and just asked "will that be all" after I stated each item. We weren't really greeted or thanked for our order and the order took a while but we expected that ordering chicken at 7 at night. The burger itself was pretty good. Well cooked and tasty, even if the patties were a bit on the small side. There were toppings on top and bottom which I definitely appreciated because most places skimp. My girlfriend's chicken sandwich was nicely sized but they forgot the cheese she asked for on it.The fries were pretty rubbish though. They were obviously overcooked or had sat out for too long and had been dunked back in the fryer right before they were given to me. I'm guessing they were probably made before my girlfriends sandwich. It wasn't the best of experiences but it wasn't awful. I don't know that I'd purposefully visit this location again though.

This place is awesome! Our wrestling team goes here after winning tournaments, which is every Saturday. They get 18 people in and out within 30 minutes!

Just ok, it was too expensive for a burger that's not much different from a burger that you can get at any joint, but again they're in a location that easily can take advantage of students U of I. Will not be going back.

Finally someone gets it! Cheeseburger salad with Blue Cheese Vinaigrette is one of my specialties. Super fresh ingredients served with a smile. Can’t wait to try more menu offerings.
