They had a nice menu. I had the fish tacos which were very tasty. My one friend had the burger abd my other friend the salmon both were very good. Salmon was cooked just right and was moist which made it tasty. Burger was cooked just right and she had a choice of sides and she had the asparagus. We will go back.

The pork chop is overpriced and not worthy given the quality. The risotto is literally just rice. It’s not creamy at all and I barely see asparagus inside.

If you didn't know in advance, you probably wouldn't be able to tell that it's a student run restaurant. Not that it should lower your expectations. Quite the contrary. If it were located in a busier area it would still be a solid choice for a meal. The food is great, the cocktails are especially well made and the service is friendly. My only complaint is that the menu options are limited. I'm not a picky eater by any means but I found it difficult to find something on the menu to get excited about.

Cora did an awesome job serving a large group today. It was for a 70th year birthday party and the amount of effort the Houlihan's staff put in today made the day really special. Thank you so much!

Went here for my wife's birthday dinner.Service was fine, if a bit slow. Restaurant was not crowded, but it took about 25 minutes for entrees to come to the table after being ordered.Other people's comments on the menu regarding font size and clear communication are accurate.House salad with bleu cheese was tasty, with a generous amount of cheese. Lettuce was small shreds of pasty iceberg. We both ordered the same steak - Kansas City strip, medium rare. Mine was overcooked (medium or medium well), tough, burned, and lukewarm at best. Hers was rare and also not warm. I only ate about half my steak and left the rest.Asparagus and French fries were tasty and hot.The restaurant was clean and nicely laid out. With so many other excellent options in the area, would not return.

The Baked potato soup is do delicious!

Was in town for my mother's 50 year reunion.Saw this team in action every morning ! Very friendly and on top of things. The food was excellent and i really appreciate how accommodating and inviting karla was.

Just went to have a drink before the illini game and the bartender with the ugly tattoo hands ignored me for ten minutes and then got herself a drink before making sure everyone else had a drink. Only ten people sitting at the bar. I left without a drink. Never coming here again!!!

Good place to eat. We went on a weeknight and it was quiet. We had a very delicious and enjoyable dinner. My salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband's chicken fingers were the best he's ever eaten. Great place to eat near U of I.

We were there on a U of I game night, so there was a limited menu. However, the food was prepared well and had good flavor although the portions were small. Service was above average and very cheerful.
