The fried avocados were very good and something very different! Friend had the chicken Santa Fe sandwich which she enjoyed. Onion rings were a little greasy but still good. Love the huge cups the drinks come in! Was not used to servers sharing the tables and everyone helping each other. It seemed like they didn't know who had gotten what for each table so sometimes we sat without any service at all because everyone assumed another server had been with us so that was a little strange. This is our first time in because we do not live in the Champaign-Urbana area

Farren's is the premier hamburger restaurant in Champaign. Yes they have other menu items, but it's the burger they are known for.Mine was perfectly cooked and flavorful.The labor shortage has effected Farren's. They are a little slower than usual. Be patient......its worth it. I brought my paper to read to pass the time. Enjoy.

Came here for lunch on a recommendation and was not disappointed. The ground beef they use for the burgers is very flavorful. And the selection is wide. I did not get one, but if you don't want beef, there are plenty of chicken sandwich choices.
1st time experience wasn't that great. The staff was nice but not friendly and didn't even try to have a conversation of any kind. You could tell their food isn't of high quality and is frozen. I wouldn't recommend or even give them a 2nd chance. Only good thing was fast service.
The burgers were good and I loved the fries. We tried the fried pickles and loved them.good place overall and clean potties.
Canadian reviewing eateries across the USA. Farren's was an amazing experience. Hannah, our waitress, was awesome!She helped pick what I would have; the flaming clucker was excellent. The flavours that this burger had was mind numbing. Best burger in months!Love this place. Will be coming back.
You guys know I'm big on cleanliness and despite being short-staffed it still was. Table, plates, chairs, floor, etc was all good, but the utensils had hardened soap on them. :( I cleaned them up and dove into their fantabulous burger and salad. They did have a sign stating they've had to re-source some supplies, and I'm not sure if the ground meat was one of them or not. Maybe it was just overcooked for the first time ever in my dozens of trips there. None the less, I'm still a huge fan and will eat there again. I'm glad they're weathering the COVID storm and staying optimistic. Great team there!
