Stopped in for breakfast. Ordered food and waited for over a half hour. We were the first people there and we watched 8 other groups come in. Still no food. We heard the laughing and talking for a good 10-15 minutes after we walked in. Server was in our personal space, big time, and the food was not good. Not the place to stop if you want good, hot food in a reasonable amount of time.
Waitress Zoe was awesome!Food was less than par. Not sure if the cook was new or just didn't care. Our meals weren't served as they were said to be in the menu. Could have been a 5 star due to value and food taste, had the cook prepared what we ordered.
When in Champaign, Bob Evans is THE place to go to for breakfast. Food is always excellent, wait staff is wonderful and the free WiFi is always a bonus. I always make it a point to visit when in town. I recommend you grab a slice of their Strawberry Supreme Pie to take with you.
Food was incredible! Service was a little confusing, and the building layout was very confusing. We weren't sure where to go (first time here) and staff didn't say a word to us for a good 3 minutes or so. Each person in our party has anxiety so it was pretty stressful lol. But after we were seated, the food was absolutely excellent! The strawberries are great! The location seems a little dirty though. The vent above us was leaking onto us and had a black substance growing around it... looks like black mold honestly. I strongly recommend that management gets that sorted out.
Food was delicious and hot. Server was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was clean. One person in our party did not get their meal with the rest of us. He was comped a bowl of soup, which was appreciated but not expected. Overall, a delightful experience!
We realized too late, we decided to stop at prime rush time during lunch on a Sunday. Waitress was... I assume she was busy but not the most attentive. Had to wait for a bit after getting food to flag someone down for silverware.Other then service, food was excellent as expected for Bob Evans.
Seemed understaffed. Waited about 15 minutes before server came to our table, then another 5 to take our order and about half an hour after that before food was served. Then the chicken was hot, mashed potatoes just warm, broccoli cold and biscuit over baked and so hard it was uneatable. Server kept apologizing, gave us drinks free. First bad experience with a Bob Evans restaurant. Gonna give them a second chance for breakfast.
Service was ok . Like everywhere else they were understaffed.Food was pretty slow coming out as well . My home fries weren't very warm either. The Bob Evans blue ribbon bacon was an interesting combination. Maple syrup and lots of pepper . That was my favorite thing I ate
Got the turkey and dressing. It was very tasty as usual. Loved it. The rolls are always a treat because few restaurants serve bread anymore. Service was very friendly and helpful.
We just had a horrible experience. We waited ten minutes to be acknowledged when we walked in and only after we complained to the manager we were taken to a table by a busser who looked like he hadn’t showered in days. We had a lovely waitress But then waited for 35 minutes for our food to arrive only after we complained about how long it was all taking. The manager herself delivered the food with no apology. The food was cold and tasted terrible. The pancakes were inedible. We are never going back. This is a horribly managed restaurant.
