So I go inside to order food. I stood there patiently and was ignored for about 4 minutes. Some guy walks into the door to order food stares at all the people and they said do you want a coffee. The guy says no I'll take a shake and then went to the bathroom.. In the meanwhile I'm still standing there no one has even said hello yet. You're why the ratings are so low for this place I was debating to even calm or not. Don't try this one people
In this day and age with lack of staff there is no excuse for rude behavior. The several workers tried very hard to put out the product, but could have been a little more friendly.
One thing you can count on 24 hours a day is White Castle ....I always have enjoyed a White Castle Cheese Burgers, and throughout the years they have remained the same.....
They close at 3am, got here at 2:450 and they didn’t take my order in the drive through. They were clearly still inside just decided to close early. Cha get your hours if you’re gonna close early.
During the week it says they’re open till 12 am and I got there at 1145 which usually I don’t come to places that close to closing but it was closest. The sign outside even says 12 am. So tell me why the person working is sitting in the car and the drive thru is closed. I’ve worked in so many restaurants in my life and I’ve NEVER been allowed to close before closing time without a good reason and I always had to take customers no matter what. Sorry you don’t want to be there that late but if you’re open till 12 am you should be open until 12 am. Tired of these covid hours and no one having the correct hours or staying open when they’re supposed to.
I love White Castle and we don't have one in Iowa so along the way to Chicago we always stop. This place was very clean and although there was a little wait to have someone wait on us, it was well worth it because the food was so good!
The African American girl working the night shift on Saturday is ignorant, rude, lazy, and the worst possible employee anybody can hire. She told me at the drive thru, my DoorDash pick up order was available. Then I wait in the drive thru for 30 minutes and get to the second window just for this ignorant girl to tell me, she gave the last guy my order without even checking for a name. Then proceeded to lie that DoorDash sends multiple orders when this was a pick up order not a delivery order. She then was being rude and racist. Someone needs to fire her. I will be taking this to corporate.
This location is always quick and ready with my order along with actually getting my order RIGHT!!! As lot of other companies are lacking in that service department. The staff is always friendly at the drive thu. A+ for this location.
It is what it is. My uncle Jay bought us a sack of sliders when I was a kid. I enjoyed the experience. Haven't had access to the brand for many years until we moved back to the burbs. Had a #1 combo with cheese to eat in. Took a sack of 10 for the grandkids. They do what they do. They fill a niche. The cult is what it is. America - got to love it!
The whole purpose of franchised restaurants is to have a consistent, predictable experience. This location is often below average. I recently ordered a crave case (30 burgers) and some fries via the White Castle app. They gave me a pick-up time, and I arrived right on time. There was no line for the drive-thru window, but I waited 4-5 minutes for my order to be ready. In the meantime, several cars queued up behind me. When I got home, the order was accurate and the burgers were very tasty. The fries were mealy and lukewarm, and tasted like they'd been cooked with old oil. I've had better frozen fries. Service was adequate, but I wonder why they didn't suggest I pull ahead to the drive-thru waiting areas to continue servicing the line behind me. I'll be back because this is the closest location, but prefer the Addison restaurant when I'm out that way.
