If you appreciate French patisserie, you have to check this place out. My wife and are big fans and find ourselves picking up a few treats at least once a month. My in-laws loved the desserts too. The owner is extremely friendly and passionate when he describes each of his amazing creations. Also, he posts some of his available desserts on his IG. Highly recommend!

The cake I ordered was beyond delicious, it looked beautiful and the owner is very nice and helpful. Overall it exceeded my expectations. Delish Almond Croissant. Easy to miss shop but worth going to, next to Subway in Savers Center. Small private shop, very friendly, SUPPORT SMALL LOCAL BUSINESSES!
I definitely recommend visiting this place, I always drive past it but this time my family and j decided to visit. The owner was there and he is very friendly telling us about his baking, he says the cakes take around 3 days to make and have ingredients imported from France. I definitely recommend buying their lychee cake and their creme brulle!!
The previous reviews said it all; Mr. Tran is a treasure and his pastries are out of this world! Truly, a little bit of France in Carol Stream. I rarely write reviews, but had to share our first experience at the patisserie. When I told Mr. Tran our purpose was to try our first-ever macaron, he let us sample one before buying. One bite and we became forever customers! We were there much longer than expected because as we admired his works of art, he shared his personal story of learning his craft and the techniques he uses to prepare his delectable pastries - all of which we enjoyed tremendously; his passion and pride in his work is captivating! And the bonus was that he allowed us to sample several other yummy bits and each was delicious! Needless to say, we left not only with a dozen macarons, but chocolate croissants and cinnamon bread, too. All are amazing. Highly recommend!

First time I visited this amazing little pastry shop was for my birthday over the summer and it sure satisfied my cravings. I got a dozen macarons and they were mixed so all very yummy. I got the chocolate and gouda and proscuitto croissant and it was amazing words can't describe. We went back for a second visit and purchased the lemon meringue tart. Never had one before and Mr. Tran was so kind to let me try the filling. the chocolate eclairs are awesome too. All in all this is a great little hidden gem. Thank you for your dedication to these lovely sweet treats.

Stopped in for the first time to pick up a cake for a friend last minute. The owner was incredibly friendly and insisted I try a slice of the cake before I bought it. It was DELICIOUS! The cream cheese frosting is light and the cake has wonderful depth of flavor. I'll be back!
