The food and service were top notch! The menu is rather large, and it can be hard to decide. We ended up ordering a variety of items for breakfast and everything was terrific. Portions were large as well and we definitely couldn’t finish everything! Not sure if we were just lucky, but there was no wait to get a table when we went on a Saturday morning.

We absolutely love having breakfast here. My wife loves the French toast my kids live the pancakes and I’m very partial for the waffles. Awesome breakfast stop.
Oh my gosh, what a terrific place. The menu is so packed with good items, it is difficult to decide. Twelve persons in the party so we ordered a myriad of food. I seldom see eggs Benedict or Florintine with homemade Hollendaise but here it was and delicious. Service was outstanding...I would suggest you stop in. Only complaint was there were too many mushrooms in the eggs Florintine.
I try to find places to eat that are not chains when traveling and I couldn't have found a better breakfast spot in the area. Highly recommend trying!! Great food and friendly service! Great job Red Apple Pancake House!!!
This restaurant to me, is the very best one in Carol Stream and the surrounding areas. They have the best breakfasts crepes, French toast, pancakes of multiple varieties and terrific baked omelette's and skillets. I especially like their big salads for lunch. The food is nicely presented, the waitresses are very good and the owners are terrific ! You cannot go wrong here. Everything is now getting expensive but here at Red Apple it's worth it. You get what you pay for. A quality value for value dining experience and delicious food. ??
Delicious as always. Staple in area. Generous portions. Omelets are a go to. Santa Fe, popeye, butcher block, Denver, to name a few. Also come in a skillet. Pancakes and Greek toast make a tasty pairing. Coffee is always good too. Salads and clubs are good also. Weekdays are fast seating for lunch, weekends are usually a 20+minute wait. Worth the wait for the food.
Cozy, family atmosphere! Big menu with so many yummy choices. I ordered the 2 eggs over medium, with bacon and crispy hash browns with onions ( and my go to - Greek toast ) The potatoes and onions were so yummy - thinly sliced and the onions were perfectly cooked ! I ate every bit of them Eggs were cooked to that exact over medium and bacon was chewy and crispy on the edges ( just the way I like ) Coffee was hot and smooth Servings are big ( only left a bit of toast on my plate ) You won’t go hungry Can’t wait to go back
I have gone here for years. The only thing I wish they'd consider changing is their bacon. It is thick and a little chewy. I think thin and crispy would be a great change. Other than that it is the perfect neighborhood breakfast place**little update** back after 2 pandemic non-restaurant years. Same great place same great people. Have plastic dividers between booths which is awesome. New floors look clean and sharp.
Outstanding service, delicious breakfast, great value. Good people serving really good food, big portions. Nowadays the cost of everything is going up, at least here you get great tasting food and a lot of it. Our server April was fantastic
