Sandwiches are always good, no complaints there. But the lady that works in this location is ALWAYS in a bad mood. No eye contact, like I’m bothering her for ordering food, complaining about other employees/ business IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. No customer service what so ever. Girl you work at jersey mikes, not the DMV. Smile a lil bit, I promise it won’t hurt…
Good food and good staff. I have read the bad reviews but i could not believe it, because i have been here for dine-in and delivery also. The staff are nice and the food is also good. ( I think the manager took an action already to improve it)
I was appalled at the succulent Sammy the worker made me. The worker(Anthony) made me the best mikes way Italian I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to jersey mikes dozens of times. This Sandwhich was so good, I almost went and sugged another one, dude needs a raise, he’s like plankton on the griddle!
First time in this new sandwich place next to the new Amoco station in Carol Stream. Pretty sure this was my first time in any Jersey Mike's anywhere. I was impressed. The guys behind the counter were friendly and quick and gave good suggestions when asked. The food was plentiful and tasty. Check the $5 deal after 5 pm. Good stuff. I'll be back!
First time here and was so disappointed with the staff. The young lady doesn’t pay attention to detail. My wife has a dairy allergy and I said no cheese and she still put cheese on it. I asked for mikes style and she still asked what I wanted on the sandwich. Which If she actually paid attention she would’ve known and would’ve made her job easier. Same young lady threw the change at my brother in law and didn’t even say “sorry” or anything she just walked away. Definitely not going back. No “thank you” no “hello” no attention to detail. I’d rather drive a little more and get Jersey Mikes in Bloomingdale or just get Jimmy Johns.
First off my husband love this place and there sandwiches and was happy when they put one by our home but the other day the young lady that was in there she had the most nastiest attitude she was taking the meat throwing it on the shaver to put the meat on the bread the killing part is wen the meat fell off on the crumbs she took the meat nd put it back on my sandwich. I was done at the point, and wen she pick the sandwich up all the trims fell off she handled the food rough and that was not kool at all maybe she was up set black peoples walked Thur the door
Went in for 2 giant subs, it was not that busy at all. The worker on the grill (long dark curly hair) made the sandwiches as normal, but due to his careless attitude poorly wrapped my sandwich. Part of my sandwich fell into the bag as well as being exposed for any contaminants or weather. This worker truly always looks like the fact that he is working is literally killing him, so that's unappealing to start. Then there is the fact that attitude clearly affects how customers recieve their food. To this worker I simply say: Come on man, do better... its not hard, just try.
Please explain to your staff the importance of glove safety. Going from the register to cooking food, etc. the young gentleman this evening did it..then proceeded to grab raw meat and put it on the stove, then grabbed my sandwich bun. Huge safety concern.
Visit: Feb. 2022 at around 11:45 amWe have visited this place a few times since it opened. We had always had a pleasant experience. On our visit today, the crew was different than the usual we’ve seen before and it couldn’t have been worse. We had a coupon, buy one regular sandwich and 2 22 oz drinks and get another sandwich for free. We presented the coupon to the cashier, I assume she was in training as she didn’t seem to know what was going on at all, but that’s fine, she told us the coupon meant we needed to buy 2 sandwiches, which we said “but it says here that you buy one sandwich and 2 drinks and get the second sandwich for free” and this is where things took a turn. Another lady, employee at the restaurant, yelled “NO! You need to buy 2 sandwiches!” She didn’t even know what coupon we had, nothing, just injected herself in the conversation and was EXTREMELY rude and condescending. After trying to explain what the coupon said, she refused to listen and just yelled. At this point we should’ve walked out but we didn’t, so, fine, we had another coupon for a meal, sandwich, drink and chips for $9.99, once again the cashier had 0 idea about it, and once again the other female employee jumped in and yelled “You can’t use that here!” We explained we had gotten the coupon at our home via USPS, I assume as part of their new location there in Carol Stream. She then, again, in a very rude and condescending tone said “the coupon says Chicagoland, this is not Chicagoland!” Seriously? Du Page is not Chicagoland? Well that’s news to me…. The lady then proceeded to prepare one of our sandwiches and DROWNED it in oil, I think she wasn’t happy with us and took it out in the sandwich. When the sandwich was ready she literally threw it on the counter as if we had asked for scraps for free. Absolutely TERRIBLE service, worst service I’ve ever had at any Jersey Mike’s location. Overall, after visiting this place several times since it opened, we might not be back, and if we do come back and the same cashier and whatever the other woman was are the crew working we’ll take our business to Jimmy John’s just down the road on Geneva where they have never been as rude as this woman was. Shoutout to Jeremy at this location, he was the only person working there who showed respect for his customers.
My wife loves them and so do I!
