Absolute terrible experience here. The manager was rude and had a terrible level of professionalism. The restaurant staff brings the quality of this hotel down so much. I had a voucher for free breakfast for 2 adults and because of that, the manager had an attitude from the moment we walked in. He tried telling us that it was only worth $20 although when I called hotels.com and IHG they both said that I was correct and that the stay included free breakfast for 2 adults. The front desk staff said it was up to the restaurant manager and they wouldn't honor the voucher I paid for through hotels.com. After 40 minutes of going back and forth on the phone, and missing my entire breakfast with my family, the restaurant manager agreed to honor what should have been done in the first place. Absolutely unnecessary experience with such a beautiful hotel. P.S. Whether I booked through 3rd party or not, the offer should have been honored especially since IHG seen the breakfast included for 2 adults on their end. I plan to also send a review to IHG on behalf of this situation. Never had such an experience at any other Holiday inn I've ever booked at through hotels.com and I've paid for the voucher many times and have NEVER been told it couldn't be used.

This place is definitely one of the best places that I had ever been to! Burger theory resto, the best. they really have the greatest service. Their staff would literally greet you once you come un and they are friendly, kind, polite, decent, well trained, cooperative, professional and patient which is a good thing since I would always ask for their opinion. they would always talk to you properly and assist you if ever you need help with something. Whether it would be by their menu or just regarding about the place itself. Their burgers were great and the kid’s meals were also so awesome, their drinks have huge varieties and I love how perfectly portioned their preparations are. The visual of their place is also neat, unique, and decent. The inside is clean, neat, tidy, well organized, bright, and awesome. They really have the best ambiance and a calming vibe that really did change my mood up. Would definitely like to go back here again for another time! thank you for the wonderful experience! Good job! Kudos!

The reception desk, Paula, was very very helpful upon check-in. The property was spotless as were the rooms we occupied. The king accessible had the BEST roll in shower ever, water drained properly. The restaurant was wonderful for breakfast and the bar in the evenings was enjoyable. Lenore, CJ, and Christian were attentive servers. We have stayed in Naperville most visits to my family but this property was the best by far.

Great happy hour specials!

They have a hot tub suite, we've used it before and it was ok. This time it was awful, and that's putting it lightly. It was room 254, the door lock didn't work with our key so we took all our luggage back down to the front desk and told them. They came and tried their master key card--nope. They had to go back down to the front desk and get the metal key, we waited and waited. Well, that worked after I was able to pluck off the plastic cover for her. She said she would have maintenance fix it tomorrow. We got in the room and the lights had a flicker to them. We thought they may stop after a bit--nope. We went to hang up our clothes and the closet door came off the track. Oops, I forgot my phone charger in the car and we don't have a room key. I went back to the front desk, they gave me a key to access the outside doors. I got my charger and all was good. We thought. Typically a hotel room will give you 4+ pillows, especially a suite with a fold-out couch-bed--nope. So, I tried to call the front desk--nope, the phone doesn't work. Thank God I charged my cellphone, I used it and a new guy was on duty and I asked if he was aware of the situation, yes, they left a note. I told him about the light and the closet door. I also explained that I was calling from my cellphone because the room phone doesn't work, he had some button I was to press to get a line--nope, this phone doesn't have that button. He asked if it was a black or white phone--nope, it was black AND white. He said 'Oh, that's our old phone'. I couldn't help but laugh. He apologized. I asked for my pillow and one was sent up. So, we are sleeping and awoke to screeching in the pipes upstairs at 12 AM! Argh, that took a while to stop, probably after they filled their tub. We went back to sleep only to be awoken again by the same screeching at 1:00 AM! What else can happen? Well, we were then awoken by the draining of the tub that caused the screech. Thankfully that was almost soothing and put us back to sleep, besides the fact we were dead tired from having our sleep disturbed so many times. We went out to go to church on Sunday and when we returned we stopped at the desk to ask if the door was fixed and get a key if it was--nope. There was no maintenance on staff that day. They called someone to meet us at our room open the door for us, telling them they need the master key. She attempted to open it with her master key CARD--nope, it didn't work even though she attempted it about 50 times as we were trying to explain that she needs the metal key. She didn't understand due to a language barrier. After she called someone who spoke her language she got the idea that she needed to get a metal key and told us she would be right back. We waited, and waited. Finally, we did get in the room. Besides all that happened, the carpet smelled musty like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, if ever. When checking out the same woman was manager-on-duty that checked us in and she apologized up and down. She did give us a little discount and I explained that this was the worst hotel stay we have ever had and we have been to a lot of hotels. She said a manager would call me and hopefully give us a better discount or something--nope, no call. This was only one room in the hotel, but you can see how many problems there were and it was just ONE NIGHT! Make up your own mind as to whether you want to stay at this hotel or not. We won't be back, that's for sure.

Food WAS outstanding. Burgers excellent and creative. This place SHOULD HAVE stayed but sadly COVID helped to take it out like so many other beloved restaurants. As of today, NOV 28th, 2020....THIS PLACE IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.Holiday Inn front desk said it happened about 2 months ago.R.I.P.

The food was very good. Much better than I expected. Then, we had a pleasant surprise when the check came - kids eat free. Even if they charge for the kids' meals, they're only $5. I'll friendly definitely be going back.

I am beyond violated at the fact that my vehicle was broken into. I did not receive any type of assistance from the staff after it occurred. There are no security cameras on the parking lot. They really need to invest in something so that guests can feel that their property is safe in the area.

Keep in mind that I am a certifiable Big City-o-phobe, and most of what I say about things in the big city need to be measured by that standard. Recently we needed to visit the suburbs of Chicago for a college visit. The Holiday Inn was recommended to us and we found an affordable room that was comfortable and clean. The bathroom and shower were great, and the main level was pretty nice, too. We were on the 4th floor, and the hallway looked like a recent revamp. The check in and check out went flawlessly, but we are accustomed to the usually 'free' breakfast, which was not available here. There was a restaurant available, but I like the mini-muffins and the Golden Malted waffle machine, so I was a little disappointed on that one. Overall a good value.

This was our first visit to Burger Theory and I have to tell you I was surprised at how good it was. We had wings and a stuffed burger. Also, the service was great!! Our server Laura was prompt, polite and very friendly. We will definitely be going back!!
