Iv been sitting here for 55 minutes, my order has been in for 45 min and they only have 5 tables and 3 waiters. Seriously ridiculous.... won't be back.. when I talked with the manager she had a complete attitude I expressed iv never waited this long at thia taste and that the place in marion thia D has our food out in 10 min after ordering. Very unprofessional, and rude certainly not customer accommodating. She offered a 15% discount and messed up and put it on the wrong ticket. I was just so ready to be out of there that I paid my full ticket so I didn't have to deal with them. I will not ever return
Their curbside pickup is less than desired, due to where they are located. But the food is AMAZING! High quality and super delicious. The best restaurant in the area. I've heard nothing but good things about this place.
Curry puffs and Beef Pad Thai, they ask you a spice level. The menu says 3 is medium, I chose 5 and it delivered for sure for the pad Thai. The puffs with sauce is awesome, without a little bland. Worth a visit prices are decent as well. Atmosphere is cozy and the staff is pleasant. The seats and booths need an upgrade, quite uncomfortable.
One of the best restaurants in Southern Illinois. Staff & management are extremely reliable, communicative, and caring. The food and atmosphere have always been great, but in recent history, they've really moved it up several notches—the new interior is beautiful and hip, dare I say romantic. Weekly specials keep the menu lively, and they are always ready to accommodate my gluten allergy. An excellent, bright spot in Carbondale that I'll continue to patronize for years.
Service was great and two of the meals were okay, but my daughter's noodles smelled like dirty butt and tasted just as bad. I'm not sure what to think about that.
This was my first Thai experience, the waitress was nice and the food was great. I only wish I'd had ordered more.
We started with soups and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the Won Ton. Me I love the Tom Kar. Talk about flavor - bob - oh - boy. Entrees included Chicken and tofu Pad Thai, both plentiful servings and on subsequent visits we did Pa-Nang (medium heat from Curry) and Gang Kiew-Warn (also medium), I'd recommend toning down the heat for my taste during my next visit, which will be soon. Highly recommended.
This was by far the worst Asian food I've had the misfortune of being highly over charged for in my life. The seafood was old and too rubbery to choke down. I had to throw it out and I NEVER throw out food I've paid $55 for, EVER! The soup was bland and tasteless. And at only twice the price of much better food anywhere else. If you're looking for good Thai food pass this place by.
Very slow with getting food order prepared. Took close to 1.5hrs, usually take 20 minutes. Also did not use correct ingredients in order. No straw mushrooms like always, instead canned buttered mushrooms. Really disappointing to ruin a meal that usually feature fresh vegetables.
Thai Taste is amazing! I love how they let you set the heat level 1-10; although the scale isn't always standardized, I've learned to never get a 9 or 10 unless you want to really hurt yourself. Try the Fresh Spring Roll!
