Not only was the service was speedy, employees was friendly, and that our food was fresh... But the management (I believe the dm) went above and beyond not only to interact with the kiddos but to put smiles on their faces ??? Thank you ?
I am not one who complains publicly but I feel everyone should know how Benjamin, the manager of Carbondale Sonic treats his costumers. Tonight Travis and I went to Sonic and we were using our MBI (local discount baseball) cards to get food. The carhop had asked to see our cards, I gave them to her, when she brought them back out to my car the sonic portion was scratched off. I asked her why they were scratched out and she didn’t know, I asked her to get the person who scratched them out. Benjamin then comes out, states that he didn’t realize they were multi-use cards and “that were lucky because he was really going to f*** them up and scratch the sh** out of them and then saw they were multi-use”. I asked him what he was going to do to replace the cards since now the sonic portion can’t be used again and he couldn’t give me a reason or justify the fact that he scratched them out AND cussed us out. He stated “sorry that’s just how I talk.” Same, but not while I’m working! Especially in a management position.
Went to Sonic for dinner on Friday, as I was giving my order the Employee taking my order stopped me 3 times, mid sentence. I spoke to this so called Manager, he was not much more intelligent. I have come to the conclusion as to why Fast Food is such a popular job. Those who work Fast food are deemed unemployable elsewhere. I do not recommend
Ordered a chicken sandwich for my gf and the sonic burger combo for me. Firstly, my gf asked for no tomatoes due to having a serious tomato allergy, but they put it on anyway. And for my burger, they gave me the value burger with my combo instead of the actual Sonic burger that comes with tomato, lettuce; etc. i assume it’s because I asked for no Mayo, so they just decided to be lazy and give me their value burger which doesn’t have Mayo. My burger didn’t have any lettuce, tomato, or anything. They quite literally were lazy and gave me their value burger instead.
The food is always good but the some of the servers have a bad attitude. Like it's a bother to take our order...
So today I go to order some Sonic food (in bad weather) and one of the burgers on my order was bacon and onion only…when I got home and opened my sandwich it had everything on it including cheese. The receipt was correct but the sandwich was not. I called. The manager Justin got on the phone and really had a bad attitude, also tried to accuse me of cursing at him (which I did not) and he then told me he was going to set me straight because he believed I cursed at him. I then just hung up the phone because his customer service attitude was poor and he had no intention of making a happy customer. I won’t be going back anytime soon and I hope Justin has a better day.
I went last week to get mozzarella sticks 4 pk. And a strawberry limeade. It didn't take long, but my mozzarella sticks had crunchy outside, but the breading was soggy and the cheese was hard .I asked for extra strawberries in my limeade and even extra, but I definitely could tell there wasn't any extra
Both managers Shaq and Justin are ridiculously rude and go out of there way to literally pick on their own employees. This store is nothing but trash I think it should be put under new management honestly.
