I live in Carbondale, and I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, I have eaten at restaurants all over the country this by far is the most expensive over rated restaurant I have ever eaten at I paid 14$ for a burger and fries and the bun was double the size of the burger! We also waited over an hours and a half for our food. The atmosphere is very nice, plants and books everywhere although you can see directly into the kitchen and I watched an employee cooking and touching food with no gloves on. The staff was great very friendly but I don’t think I’ll be returning
keepers quarters is the best restaurant in carbondale. all the servers are hot and friendly and cool and nice, especially the two kat’s! definitely recommend the best reuben in carbondale!
We absolutely love Keeper’s Quarters and are so stoked lunch is back! I had the Reuben today and it was slammin’! it has such a great atmosphere with a library of cookbooks to peruse and lots of gorgeous plants. 100% recommended checking it out!
Coming down from Chicago area, this is by far one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting, even relatively to up north. Drinks, apps, and main meals were excellent. Highly recommend the hummus and Cuban sandwich!Most importantly, the service was superb. Harleigh did a wonderful job following up on any requests and was so kind. She, and the rest of the team here, set a new bar for what restaurant service/quality should be.Don't think, just do it.
Are there recently after a long Covid hiatus, and what a treat. Happy to see some staff still there who were there at our last visit. Food was very tasty, generous, and creative, but comfortable. Highly recommend.

If I could give this place 10 stars that would be it! The food was amazing, the chef is really talented and creates incredibly tasty, healthy, fresh and delicious dishes. I had the best flat bread and kale/ brussel sprouts salad I've ever tried. I honestly think whatever you'll choose is going to be the great choice!
The atmosphere of this place is amazing and the staff are the nicest! There was plenty of food and it tasted so good! I would definitely come back.
