Wow !VERY refreshing to see the afternoon/evening crew putting forthsuch great service and, believe it or not - THE BEST Omelette in townas of now, (5/27/22) PERIOD !- Go see for yourselves after 3pm -You will not be disappointed.It is so good to see a restaurant serving breakfast any time !(Especially here in the 'Dale with many establishments going downhill)

Unfortunately we chose to eat at IHOP for my daughter's 9th birthday. After about 90 minutes I wanted to walk out causing the birthday girl to cry... she was so excited to eat there. So after my mother walked into the kitchen and saw that the pancakes my daughters ordered were right there under the heat lamp, looking dried out and sad... since no staff was to be found we grabbed the unappetizing plate of pancakes and served it to my daughters.My mom never received her order and whoever was in charge for night did apologize and said she'd remove the burt on top, undercooked in the middle, sad 90 minute wait pancakes...It was an extremely frustrating experience, there was only one other table sat which left slightly before us in an angry fashion. I will NEVER attempt to eat here again.
It’s nice having an IHOP nearby.That being said, the pancakes I received were quite underwhelming for a restaurant that specializes in pancakes. While they weren’t bad by any means, they were just okay. They did seem a bit over cooked. I guess I was expecting something that would be better than the pancakes I could’ve made at home. I suppose I had my expectations set too high for a chain restaurant, haha.I will try again some other time, because I’ve been to other IHOPS in the past and I remember them having better quality food than this. Maybe it was just an off day.
Horrible experience altogether. Walk in and first words out of the staff “we are short staffed in the kitchen so it’ll be a little bit of a wait”. Okay, so I’ve waited for food before, maybe 30 minutes tops. So we go ahead and get seated. We waited over an HOUR and still no food and no drink refills. I don’t care how short staffed you think you are; you don’t continue to seat patrons when you know you don’t have the staff to appropriately meet expectations. We weren’t the only ones to walk out without getting a meal. Worst IHOP experience ever.
Me, my wife and 3 grandkids visited your restaurant tonight 03,/19/2022Our waitress Amber was the absolute worse waitress ive ever had anywhere.We ordered our drinks amd.she never brought them until she brought our food. Then we never seennher again until she brought us the bill. She never asked how everything was, she never even spoke. We never got refills or anything. She was horrible.
We go there every Saturday for my fix of harvest grain pancakes. I like my harvest grain with honey and butter. This is my thing for the past 5 years. Last 6 months visiting the Carbondale restaurant since it opened here. Mismanaged!! they run out of honey so nowI take my own honey. The pancakes are getting smaller and smaller. Now they are 4" diameter for $9.75. Look at the picture I am attaching here. The kitchen is always overwhelmed. I should have given 1 star but my regular server is very sweet and they are getting 2 extra star just for her.Again very Mismanaged brand new restaurant, make me feel sorry.
They were quite busy but it was early morning on a Saturday so we weren't surprised when everything took a bit longer. Waitress was really nice... came back multiple times.. food was really good like usual.
This IHOP is the best! My husband and I drive all the way from Herrin every Sunday. We highly recommend our server Kalli J. She is amazing ?. She's very cheery, bubbly, prompt, and professional. The food is always served fresh and delicious.
It was okay. It was steady since Dennys is shut down. We order coffee stir with a packet of sugar we used.Bring food and still no silver ware had to ask.The food amounts was excellent and cooked perfect.
