Excellent service by the staff and great atmosphere. Visited a friend in Carbondale and ate here. Really loved their tables and chairs. The food tasted good considering it is in Carbondale (as opposed to Chicago). I had the chicken with black bean sauce and the honey walnut chicken, which I thought it could've been tastier. Nonetheless had a great experience at this restaurant.

This place has been one of our favorite restaurants for many years. High quality food at great prices. I and my friend tried the chicken coconut curry (panang chicken) with vegetables and kung bao chicken. The taste was great and awesome. We were visiting this place after few years and the taste hasn't faded. I went two days consecutively with my guests. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service. We also tried the salt and pepper calamari, it was quite tasty and delicious. It's one of the best place in Carbondale.

The woman seating people is rude and also mean to her staff. I walked in to place a to go order and I was told to go outside and look at the menu then come back in when ready to order. They are requiring masks (no one else is now) and I didn’t realize it. She could have asked me if I had one or offer one- she was offering masks to others. When my order was ready, I asked for extra sweet and sour sauce. The girl running the register went to grab some and that woman ran to her, slapped at her hands and said no not that!! I thought I would try place out. I have had friends that said the food was good. It is absolutely awful!! I will definitely not go back!!

Website menu prices are not current. Restaurant is clean with prompt and good service. We have been looking forward to visiting this restaurant for some time. A lot of people really recommended it. However, the food really underwhelmed us. The fried rice tasted “old” and our entrées were not very warm when delivered to our table. In fact the pineapple pieces in our sweet and sour chicken was actually refrigerator cold.

Have been going to the Hunan now for years. Today we took our kids car shopping and decided to have an early dinner. I have an autistic 10 year old who has severe food issues so I called ahead to make sure it would be OK to bring food in. Stopped and got her fries from BK and went to the restaurant. When we got there the sign on the door said masks are required. Where we live this isn't really a thing so I called and asked. The girl who answered the phone said if you don't have them we do. We walk in and a woman I have always assumed was an owner got very rude about the masks. I explained that the girl had told us on the phone that they had them. She gave us masks, but scoldingly told us next time we had to bring our own. No problem I was going to go get some if the girl hadn't volunteered them. Then she asked us to wait while she got our table ready. This was no problem, but instead of doing that she made mention of the bag of Burger King. I explained that I had called ahead to ensure this was OK, and the girl had gone and asked. She said yes, for little kids and our kids should be able to eat off their menu. Even going so far to say they can fry stuff including chicken. My autistic daughter also doesn't eat meat. She has texture problems. This is exactly why I called ahead about bringing in food. If they had said no it wouldn't have been a big deal we would have come at a different time when we had a sitter. Sadly, my other three love chinese, but rarely get it. If I hadn't called I would have a better understanding of her rudeness, but as I did I was highly offended. She talked to me like a child in front of my children. I will never be back to a place I have eaten at for years and years. Sad to think I wasted my gas driving there from Marion and also time I could have been enjoying with my children instead of being humiliated. It's to bad for the server who would have gotten us to. Our bill would have been over $100, and I never tip less than 25%. It's safe to say that after this experience my family will never be back. She was pleased with herself when we left even saying goodbye to us and our kids in a snotty way. Not much of a way to run a business if you ask me.

Not only Chinese food but wide variety of culture. Delicious food and very clean. Most of the food is not processed. Are a little strict about Covid but they want to keep safe so I get it. If you are trying to find a place to eat come here!

We love this place. The food is fantastic. We ordered our food through Grubhub and it arrived hot. We got a dish with duck, another with scallops and our third with shrimp.

Unprofessional customer service. I went in order my 87 year old mom shrimp fried rice getting her to eat is difficult so I was surprised when she requested it requested extra sweet and sour sauce. The lady at the register stated to my grandson there is some in the bag and she gave two two extra. None was in a bag resulted in her only having two and not enjoying her dinner. Luckily I found duck sauce at the house and she ate two plates of the food making me very happy. I called in to make a complaint they asked me to call back again later further aggravating me I will never go to this restaurant again in my life. Remember when you pay a premium price for a product you should get premium service.

We like the food here. Good options for vegetarians and waiters are very friendly.

I was there to pick up an order, the order wasn't ready. I asked for a time frame as the app requires me to. The manager refused to give one. I told them since they aren't meeting their contractual obligation to give me a time frame I would be required to select the highest which is 1hr+. She chose to then yell at and berate me requiring me to contact support and support canceled the order.
