Came to Golden Corral today with low expectations in comparison to coming here years ago. I actually stopped coming here. We came in today just because it would be fast. Absolutely blown away by the changes. High quality food. High quality staffing. Very clean! Current management team and staffing are fantastic. Recommend trying this place again if you haven't been in a while. Even my son was happy. Impressed by your whole appearance and food. p.s. I eat out a lot and it takes a lot for me to give a review like this. ❤️
We frequently go to breakfast at Golden Corral. There are 2 servers typically working the shift. Rachel and Obama. They are both so phenomenal! Anticipating what you need, before you need, cleaning and stocking, moving fast and efficiently. Really good catfish too!
Nice lil place the food was good the price was definitely fair 25.17 for two which beats fastfood on portion and taste and the service was kind...although the bathroom smelt like an amusement park bathroom..I was happy with the lunch variety and the server at the door and table it was definitely a place I'll go back if in the area
We got there at 345 the food was good and fresh. At 4 they switched everything to dinner and we got steak and shrimp for the lunch price. It was very clean. We saw the employees sweeping and wiping everything down. Great place to eat, will be back soon.
Tried to reserve table for party of 9, called 3 times and it rang and rang then went to busy signal. So we drove over, had a short wait so they could find seating. Service was ok. Food was ok. The ice cream machine was down. So no ice cream with dessert. Had a server that was actually pulled away from the salad bar to wait tables. He carried his own tho!! Gave him a $20 tip!!
This was by far the worst restaurant in Carbondale! Nothing labeled correctly (managers fault) The grill cook had an attitude gave his buddy a big old nice piece of steak and mine was half fat and small. Then he had an attitude because he couldn’t hear me. There was no cocktail sauce on the bar, the taco meat wasn’t in the right place and had no shells chips or flour tortillas for the taco meat. So I said I’ll just go and get some dessert and there was Two different cakes and both were stale and most of them were empty with nothing on them and improperly labeled as well was the hot side and inproperly labeled ,and nothing was kept full. Management terrible. From salad to hot bar to desert was mislabeled and missing or stale. $80 for this!? Horrible service in management. Waitress was polite and did a good job. That was the only good thing this place can offer.
The food was all old and Luke warm. I literally went and made a plate sat down tried a bite of everything and left. Asked for a refund but manager was rude and acted like I was trying to get a free meal and I wasn't gonna argue. Definitely will never go back!!
My insulin pump always fails when i go here. ..if maybe next time i remember to bring a syringe as backup then i could leave there happy. Till then, only 4 stars! #sorryyoushouldagotfivestars

My children and I love Golden Corral. I realized some people don't but I've never had a problem with the food or the service. We had a great time
