Everything I've ordered on the menu has always been fabulous. Best Mexican food in carbondale by far. I also love that its open until 3am.
Every time I'm in town I get Nachos Don Taco. ? It's AMAZING every time!!!!!
We just placed an order for the OR nurses at SIH. After calling twice to let them know that they shorted us a chicken nacho, the person who we spoke to said she said she personally bagged the order herself and it was right! Nope it was wrong, and you should have at least offered to deliver another order or give a credit. We will remember next time. Have the manager explain this inexcusable rude lady on the phone about this situation and hanging up on us!
I always wait long enough between ordering that I forget how terrible the service is. They are always rude on the phone. Often, the order is incorrect when you receive it. You are always put on hold when they answer the phone and their phone makes a terrible squeaking noise. The food is usually consistently good, I just wish their customer service was a better experience. Or, I wish they would offer online ordering.
Not organized. t wasn’t even busy the Last two times i went there, and they still got my order wrong. I paid for extra tomatoes and lettuce. Maybe they just don’t like people who look like they’re from the subcontinent.
If you can, each visit try a, new to you, item. So far every food or drink item, I have tried was delicious. The tortillas are freshly maid. The Mexican food is authentic, fresh, and I'll say again Delicious.Every visit to Don Taco Has been a good experience. The workers are always nice, and very helpful. The restaurant is very clean. There is even outdoor patio seating.
Wouldn't let me order online so had to call. Waited 6min 37seconds on hold. Then they wouldn't let me pay cash upon arrival. Got there there was no one else there and they made me go back to my car and get my credit card and my photo ID which is a bull or they wouldn't give me food. $19 for 2 tacos, a nacho and b.s. from start to finish. Will never eat there again
If I could give a 0 I would. Despite the complications with me being charged twice by Don Taco, however, never receiving my meal the customer service was by far one of the worse experiences ever. I went to the restaurant to ask for a refund as I was told to do on the phone with them, when I came in to speak to the manager the manager told me he was “too busy”. I told him that has nothing to do with me, I can wait until he is no longer busy. I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me, he then told me to come back the next day and speak to the day manager, but refused to give me the day managers name. Customer service is at a negative, employees attitudes are at a negative, all the managers there do not deserve this job, especially from the looks of other reviews.I never received a refund, nor did I ever receive my food. Do not eat here, they’re a horrible business !!!

Food is a little pricey but good. My main complaint is that they don’t have any way of keeping food warm after it’s made, so if you order pickup, expect cold food unless you’re there right after it’s made.
