My Daughter loved the food and the ambiance. The best part the service was awesome and the food was delicious and came very fast.Definitely Recommended!

This restaurant used to be Yen Yen and I loved going there for lunch. It's now under newer ownership and called Yan Yan.It's been about 9 years since I had been there because I no longer work in that area... but yesterday's hopes of tasting memory lane fell a bit short. My order didn't arrive crispy as I requested, and their spicy sauce was burnt and didn't taste as good as it used to...The staff has always been wonderful and they still are, but I hope when I try again... the food is like it used to be.

My husband and I went here for the first time for lunch about a week ago. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, excellent service and the food was delicious. We will be changing from our regular place we’ve gone to for many years. It’s so expensive now and the quality went south. Highly recommend Yan Yan!

Dinner was good. Beef satay wasn't at all spicy which was a little disappointing. Soup could have been hotter

Friendly enough but pretty sad place. One of worst sweet and sour shrimp I ever had. Even fortune cookie stale. Maybe hit it on an off Friday night

Yen Yen (Yan Yan) has become extraordinarily bland in its cooking. Breaded and deep fried items are thick and nearly indistinguishable from one another. A green bean chicken serving we had was flavorless, and spring rolls done in peanut butter were simply badly conceived and executed. I did like the pot stickers, the only item in our most recent order with any flavor at all. We used to frequent Yen Yen when our children were young and remember it from all those years ago as really good, fresh Chinese food. Really not so much any more.

We were extremely disappointed with this restaurant. We ordered two items off the House Specials. They were fair. When the bill came one item was $5 more than it was listed on the menu. Isn't this illegal?? When we questioned the waitress she said the prices had gone up. The staff was incompetent. People who were seated after us received their food before us. We were given another customer's credit card. When we tried to use our debit card we were told their were no funds on it. We called the company which said this was not true. We will not visit this restaurant again.

I ordered beef chop suey & it was beef, onions, mushrooms. No water chestnuts, no pea pods, not the same food I got last time I was there, & the price went up 5 dollars per meal. Won't go back!

Restaurant which is called Yan Yan in Buffalo Grove was very clean. We arrived just before noon and our first indication that this wasn't going to be great was that there was only one other table seated. Huge dining room, one table of three. So we were told to seat ourselves, which we did. Good menu selections and prompt service (well, we were the only other people in the restaurant). Good portions of food, but mostly was very bland. The fried rice was not good at all. No flavor. The table of three that were seated when we walked in were loud and seemed drunk and foul mouthed. That really ruined the atmosphere. Sorry Yan Yan. We won't be back.

We had a great birthday lunch with portion sizes good for 2 people, ask for the red sauce if you would like to add a little flavor and spice.
