We dined in for lunch. Upon entering the restaurant they said they were out of bread so we could not order sandwiches or garlic bread, but they had plenty of pizza and soda.We had planned on ordering the lunch special combos of pizza and salad. Both the pan and thin pizza and salad were delicious! We also ordered ice tea to drink and were told they were out of sugar and sweetener.Hoping this was an isolated supply issue and not something that happens on a regular basis.
We have lived in the area for six years and since Giordanos is our family's favorite deep dish pizza you can imagine we have ordered quite a few times. Since covid (2020) service has gone down SO much! We have issues with over the phone or online curbside pick up order all the time. Today for instance, we ordered pizza and were handed the wrong pizza (labeled exactly how I ordered it on the slip) but I got someone else's pizza I assume. I think that we will be taking our money to a different Giordano's location...I am done giving them chances. Sorry not sorry!
We were there over an hour before we were told that they forgot to put our pizza in the oven and it would be another 45 minutes. This is after we were told our pizza was almost done. How do we go to almost done to we forgot to put the pizza in the oven? The appetizer was very good. We were hungry and didn't want to wait another 45 minutes so we left and went to White Castle across the street.
Best pizza in Chicago !!!!Giordano's is an American pizzeria chain that specializes in Chicago-style stuffed pizza. ... The pizzeria has since expanded to over 65 locations in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Nevada, and Wisconsin.
Totally different pizza than it’s been for forever. Sausage was like little balls not like the usual sausage used. Crust was very stale tasting.
They messed up my order AGAIN. It happens pretty much very other time I order from them. I simply ask for a side of sauce because they hardly put any on their deep dish pizza. The frustrating part is the receipt attached to my order shows they only included 2 out of 3 items that I ordered. To add insult to injury they refused to credit my credit card for the error so now I have a credit to a place I never want to go back to in the future. Lou Malnati's is down the road so that's where we will be taking our business.
Awesome pizza. Parmesian garlic fries were really good as well!
Despite being 'open', they are in fact, NOT open. They do carryout only- have for weeks.Look, if your dining room is closed, put it on your website. And pay people- its amazing how you get employees to stay (the sign on the door says its due to lack of staff)Oh, and having your cook lounging in one of the made up tables in the middle of the dining room, in full view of the window, is not a good look.
11/19 Two girls in charge of carry out were complete a**holes. Very rude to customers on and off the phone.
food:nothing like a Giordano's deep dish.service: just great.
