Outstanding service. Meat Lovers Skillet and Bacon burger were delicious. Nice bread basket. Fast refills and staff works very hard to take care of everyone. Owner came by to check on the tables, he was so kind. This is a great restaurant for meeting friends and family or just going out for ice cream. Excellent soups, too. HUGE MENU!!!
It's not the same great diner it used to be. I thought it might have been the effects of Covid, but discovered that there was a change of ownership in 2019. I used to love their specialty crepes with strawberries and bananas. I ordered strawberry crepes today going for the same delight. It used to be on their menu with both fruits together, that batter used to have pecans in it and had been fried with butter, topped with whipped cream. Today they upcharged for getting bananas added to the strawberry choice on menu. It didn't have that wonderful taste of butter, and I even had to ask for whipped cream. My son got the waffles. We had to ask for whipped cream for his waffles, too.
Awesome place to get a dinner and a treat for the kids. Huge menu and they serve breakfast anytime! The ice cream selection is awesome and they have lots of specialties like the ice cream parlors of yore. Super kid friendly, the staff are wonderful and every time I've been there management comes out to ask how everything is.They also have gaming machines if that's your thing.
Such a great family restaurant. We love all the staff and the food is always amazing. My 7 year old said they have the BEST chicken tenders he’s ever had. And if you know kids, they are picky when it comes to their chicken tenders. Always a great place to sit and eat great food and enjoy.
I've Loved this place that has been here for probably for about 50 years. All of the food I've had here has been pretty darn good. The problem after covid was getting employees but it seems they might have solved that problem currently. Almost all the food that I have had here has been cooked to perfection and if it's not which is rare they corrected immediately. I've had the scrambled eggs onions and spinach turkey onions well done and burnt. I have had the California fruit plate which is in the summer excellent fruit for sure and cottage cheese. Skirt steak air has been excellent. And if you want a fun server to try out if she's available ask for Blanca. If you have kids take them here they will have a good time.
The menu has changed since we were just. Came for the Mish Mosh Soup but no longer on the menu. The Vienna corner beek sandwich was good but my wife's pasticcio was bland. Needed some more Greek seasoning including a little more cinnamon. Service staff was very nice and attentive.
Every. Single. Time.Whether I eat here, now (once and the last) or the multiple times I’ve delivered from this restaurant- they are always late, and never apologetic, and the man behind the counter never acknowledges delivery drivers. Customers do not come before drivers- they are also customers!!!!Never again will I spend good money for BASIC food.Hard pass.

Food was great and service was fast. I didn't have to wait until my glass was empty to refill my water. At first, I thought prices were high for a sandwich, but when ordering a sandwich you get a soup, pickle slice and bread and crackers. The fries that came with were crisp and not soggy. So price made more sense. I can't speak to their ice cream but the ice cream parlor part looked old fashioned and beautiful, I think I'll try that next time. My only suggestion for management is to keep investing in sprucing the place up. Having a check out counter with broken glass screams, we need help.
For starters cream of potato soup and mini croissants-delicous, good hamburger and great fries : ) could have shared. Glad we stopped for lunch we were from out of town.
