Good food. Great service. We live out of state, and ate here while on vacation. It's been years since we have visited, but something about the pizza tasted different than before. Can't quite put my finger on it. Something with the crust. I really enjoyed the toppings. They were high quality, and full of flavor. Thanks :)
I'm from New Jersey, and pizza is kind of our thing. Yes, the best in the country is still in NYC (something about the water, I believe), but we feel strongly about our pies. Chicago-style deep dish is not on our menus, though. So a recent business trip to the Northwest corner of Cook County brought us here. Excellent location, accessible, friendly staff and prompt service. Be ready to wait 30 minutes for your pizza, because it is made just for you. A slice and a half was all I could manage, very filling. We have a tomato pie in South Jersey (around Trenton) that's similar on the top, but the crust/dough is not. I would recommend this spot to any tourists and the locals already know how good it is.
Had our 50th wedding anniversary celebration May15 and it was perfect. Our server Melissa , was great, the food was great and there was plenty of it. Everyone had a wonderful time. Getting help planning was easy, the event team responded in a timely manner. I mean who doesn’t love pizza, pasta and wings , and the server , Melissa, made sure she was attentive to anyone with dietary restrictions. Thank you all!
Having loved deep-dish with my experience at Bacino's back in the 80s (they were closer to downtown back then), I had to get some deep-dish while working with a client. I was going to go to the Bacino's location in Lincoln Park but the Dakotah Earley shooting had just happened so I decided to avoid the downtown area. Lou's was a great choice. They staff was VERY friendly and my small pizza was enough for two full meals. Even better leftover the next day!
Great place for pizza, salads, pasta or just drinks and appetizers!! Super friendly staff!! Ordered the new Korean BBQ wings. Sammi was extremely helpful in explaining the spice factor and making sure my order was placed and brought out to me. She had me double check to make sure that I was a happy customer. I Appreciate Customer Service like this. Very hard to find this kind of attention at most restaurants these days. I will definitely return!!
Oh the anticipation of visiting Chicago for the first time…I was super excited to try Chicago style pizza for the first time at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. Here’s why:1. The bartender lied and said he had a certain liquor when in fact he did not.2. Service is horrible. We waited almost 10mins before being greeted.3. We ordered our food and had to wait an hour just for the appetizers.4. Food. The wing appetizer was over cooked. Salads were good tho.5. 1.5hrs later and we are STILL waiting for our pizza. At this point, I’ve lost my appetite! This is so upsetting and disappointing.6. Our server stated, “Your pizza is coming out now.” We are STILL waiting!7. When the pizza FINALLY arrived, it wasn’t hot, cold in fact!8. Then, the server forgot my Husband’s pizza! Lord, we don’t have another hour to WAIT!This place doesn’t even deserve the one star I provided. Horrible, just HORRIBLE!*Update: The manager came over and comp’d our entire bill and apologized for our experience. He did the right thing!

Absolutely AMAZING STAFF!!! THANK YOU!!!Not only was the service absolutely amazing but so is the food. Although we visited during a peak hours it was definitely extremely busy. There was a party of 20, couples and families dining. We were extremely impressed with the timeliness of our appetizers, pizza and desert (not to mention our several refills). Our server was beyond excellent and the manager was on top of everything. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. We will absolutely be back soon.
If you like deep dish pizza this is where it was invented, they will not disappoint.
The wings here are so underrated! This is my go to place for wings and pizza. The customer service here is also beyond amazing! Once I had accidentally ordered incorrectly and they replaced my order with the correct order free of charge. Love them for that :) The curbside pickup is always fast & on time even at the busiest times. Always a great experience all around here! :)
