I've been a fan of White Castle ever since my dad first took me there in 1960s. I know it's not for everyone, but for those of us who like it, it's hard to beat.
Staff was awesome. White Castle corporate, not so much. Went to use a B5 Cheese Get 5 FREE over, at Castle, in Crave Nation app. That unlocked at 9pm but it doesn't unlock and my Castle has no wY to scan it. Very frustrating but not staffs fault. They were AWESOME and even knew how to process Raisie electronic gift cards which have to be entered manual. Great Job ladies. Keep up the great service!
White Castle a staple of late night food closing earlier than your local grocery store is just hilarious. oh and they advertise a 1921 burger they won’t make here in the the evening. Makes sense?
What a disappointing experience. I ordered online to save time. Also, to take advantage of the 20% off coupon for using mobile order. When I arrived at the restaurant they told me they didn’t have my order. I received an email confirmation of my order so I’m not sure how the restaurant didn’t receive it. So I ordered again, waited at least 20 minutes in the drive they line, got to the window and they confirmed my order, which was completely different. I explained about the mobile order and that I reordered at the speaker menu and she said “no sorry we didn’t get it”. She then walked away and I waited another 10 minutes. I assumed she was going to make my order. When she came back she had my order and I paid. I couldn’t use the 20% coupon. The fries were cold, actually they were barely cooked. Sort of still frozen. Burgers were made awful. Patties half on half off. Some had pickles some didn’t. More onions on the outside of the buns than on the actual burger. Just aggravating. $40 isn’t much but it was supposed to be a treat and it was a waste.
Very disappointed took them almost 15 minutes for a small order. The patties on the sliders were super thin as bacon hopefully is just on this location
We waited an hour in the drive through until we got our food. This wait time seems common at night time at this location in Bolingbrook. Totally unacceptable!! We were given our food, and our fries were missing. The worker at the window I'm assuming stepped away for a bathroom break. There was another worker, who kept walking past the drive through window, who repeatedly ignored my attempts to get her attention. We had to wait for the worker to return from her break to get the fries were missing. Horrible customer service!!!!!
Usually this place is not open in the evening. I love White Castle so I come here a lot but they're usually closed. I'm here right now and they are open but the screen says they are closed which is interesting because a lot of people probably leave. Be prepared to wait a very long time to get your food. Seems like they only staff one person and I'm estimating it's going to be about 20 minutes until I get my food. It sucks because I really wanted the 1921 Burger but they don't sell those in the evening per the staff. It looks good though. Uh.
Quick and easy. Online ordering is simple. Place the order and pick up in the drive through. Order was hot and ready when I got there.
Awesome! My late father introducing my little teenage self to this chain when we moved back to Illinois from Colorado as "Whitty Casttel," their famous "sliders and nails" were well worth the money: these "nails" had both my friend and I exclaiming for days since they're the first and only fries which stayed piping hot to the bottom of the baggie. And their sliders are tops, piping hot, and the next morning for breakfast.
I just love the sliders and so does my grandson.
