Just so we are clear the workers are not the issue here. They However, the menu needs to be more clear about ingredients. I don’t eat dairy or carnivore so I ordered the hummus wrap without ranch or cheese since it’s on the ingredients listed. The listing doesn’t mention anything about chicken. Entire wrap thrown in the garbage, waste of my money. Not to mention they are already out of avocado. ?On the other hand the lean machine smoothie taste okay.
Rashon was great!!! He had very positive service and he even had enough to give me a small cup on the side. Great job! I will definitely stop by again!

My daughter orders from here about every other week. I've eaten from them with her a few times. I'm not really impressed. The kale apple slaw is very inconsistent- she orders it every time, about every other there's too much mayo and it's very watery. Today she took one bite and tossed it (she typically finishes it when it's good).The maple glazes sweet potatoes have no glaze at all. None. At. All.I ordered an edible strawberry straw - extra charge- today and just realized I never got it - they seem to miss little things like this often.The quesadillas are meh. The turkey bacon sandwich was pretty good, but too much dressing.
So I order food and smoothies which are very good...but I went in and asked for a cup of ice for my soda because I work in the same plaza. So there were 2 workers at the counter and one was telling the other to give me a medium or large cup and fill halfway. So I get the cup of ice and I said thanks boys because it was two of them and the one worker comes to my job mad that I called him a boy.... Tells me he's 25 yes old and demands respect which I told him I never meant any disrespect and he walk out. Now I do understand that I'm a white male and this worker was black there's not a racist bone in my body and this isn't 1950's down south I'm not his slave owner and there's aren't cotton fields. Not to happy this kid had to come say something because I'm not sure if he's a 25 yr old manor a young punk who was looking for trouble????
Such an amazing smoothie that they make... One of my most favorite places out there...get you one...u won't regret it.
The smoothies are great. They aren't super sweet and stick with a natural flavor. The peanut butter cup smoothie has a refreshing taste, not too sweet, but you can definitely taste the banana as well as the peanut butter. It is very smooth. The mango magic is a great sweeter option.The variety of smoothie is great, and it's good to have another smoothie spot in bolingbrook. The atmosphere of the building is perfect, with tables and a bar setup with stools.The service was quick and very respectable considering the fact that the place has just opened up and I've never had such perfect service with equally as great product. Whether you are just stopping in to pick up or going to sit down and eat there. I highly recommend this place.
Excellent customer service, delicious food, edible straws, and very much appreciate the gender neutral single stall bathrooms! Though I wish the menu would expand to include vegan options, a few more vegetarian options, and switch from styrofoam to compostable paper cups. Just some minor improvements that Tropical Smoothie Cafe should incorporate, but overall very happy with my decision to come here!
This place has a chill, bright, beachy vibe! The chicken caprese sandwich was tasty and the sunrise sunset smoothie was a nice mix of sweet and tart! Pretty cool that they offer edible straws instead of regular plastic! Would come here again!
peanut paradise tasted like peanut prison water. you’re better off going to the one on janes. 7.50 for water with blended peanuts. ?
