Been eating here for years with friends and family.I always order the chicken tenders with french fries since I do not like the rest of the menu--which is fine since I come to be with friends and family.Suddenly, yesterday, the waitress tells me they are refusing to serve me my usual order because I am not a child. At first I thought she was joking, but she was being serious. My age should not matter, I am a paying customer who wants to buy your food.After some arguing they finally decided to serve me, and then told me that going forward they would not make another exception for me. I asked to speak to the manager who conveniently was not there, but supposedly her name is Brenda.Brenda, your policies and discrimination just lost you multiple customers.
THIS REVIEW IS FOR DOWNERS GROVE, but oddly enough reviews aren’t available for that location on Facebook. My husband used to order from DG very frequently for delivery and enjoyed the food. He tried going in for the first time and the woman at the counter pointedly but silently refused to serve him- she even met his eyes as he waited politely, and then served another customer who arrived minutes after my husband stood awkwardly waiting. We have no idea why she would ignore him… the only difference he could see between himself and the customers who were served before and after he arrived is his race. He tried emailing them but since they won’t reply, we have no idea why he was ignored!
I had the 3 taco platter. The meat in the taco was not tough and easy to eat. I really liked the rice that came with it. Probably personal preference but I would've liked the meat in the taco to be more seasoned.
Great food, friendly and great service.I got enchiladas chicken and guacamole along with horachata.They serve you chips and salsa.All tasted amazing and biig portions. Muchas gracias

Solid Mexican food with good service. Been going here for a while now for tacos, flautas and nachos ?
I would normally give this place a 5 star. Great food, good price, and nice a dining setup. Unfortunately in early December 2021 myself and one other got a stomach flu from eating the Chile rileno tacos. We ruled out covid and we didn't dine in. This was the second time this happened during the year and not isolated to one dish. So I'm only writing this because I love the place and want them to be more thorough in food safety.
Great place, great burritos! I've had their steak burrito dinner two different times and I've really enjoyed them! If you haven't been here yet, give them a try!
