This is one of my favorite spots for authentic Mexican food. I had to bring my mom and stepdad while they were visiting to witness the greatness of El Balcón. They were amazed at how authentic the food was (even said it was better than anything they've had in Texas). Highly recommend this place for real Mexican quesadillas. The guacamole was wonderful with the right level of spice and we especially loved the "pepino preparado" -- cucumber with fresh ceviche and shrimp. Outstanding service that keeps us coming back time and time again!
Great place to dine in. Staff is super friendly and courteous. I’ve tried at least 4 different plates and my favorite is the carne en su jugo. I had take out chilaquiles verdes and was not very satisfied with the packing. The serving is definitely smaller than at the restaurant. No sour cream or cheese on the side. But the taste was not disappointing.
When they 1st opened the food was amazing. Now it tastes bad. Not fresh and no flavor unless you love salt!!!! It's like they don't care anymore.

We have had 2 meals here in a few weeks and plan to make this our regular Mexican fare restaurant. Tacos, torta and burritos are fabulous. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The guacamole was great too, it has more cilantro and onion than most people are accustomed to but we think it is awesome.
this place was over all pretty good. they forgot to bring our coke but othere than than the service was really good and the food tasted great
I paid $21 for this coctel Campechana but the (about 8 pieces) of shrimps were gummy, the (about 25 pieces)of octopus was watery/spongy and the (about 4) oysters were super small. There was more Ketchup then anything. I would not order this again I cannot vouch for any of the other food as I only ordered only a cocktail. I gave 2 stars because the waitress was nice. Not worth what I paid at all. I can go to Ola del Mar and get the real deal fresh/plump seafood.
Staffs were nice and did greeted me upon entry. Good Mexican food menu and they have amazing cocktails.
Love this place! I always stop by when I go to Once Upon a Child next door. Great food, great margaritas, great atmosphere, and really reasonable prices! I always get tacos or tortas. Neither are a bad choice.
