So my fiance and I and another couple went Bulldog Ale House and hands down it was the worst experience we had in a while. I'll just list the problems... -Room temp soup. -Raw hamburger meat, when asked to be well done. -Wrong order on fries -Mushy pulled pork sandwich, the bun was completely soaked and disintegrated. -Bloody Mary tasted like tomatto water, no flavor. So the manager comes to the table and asks how everything is. So i tell him (respectfully) and he literally doesn't say ONE word and just walks away. Like really dude?? We wait about 5 to 8 minutes and the waitress brings the check. I ask her if I could speak to the manager. When he comes over, I say "I told you all our issues and you literally didn't say or offer anything, not even a sorry you just walked away" he stuttered a few times and said "well I didn't think I could offer you anything to make you happy" What?? Really, and you're the manager?? This isn't our first issue with this place. We gave it several chances and each time it's been worse and worse.

I have been here dozens of times. Tonight was absolutely amazing. Hailey I cannot thank you enough for your phenomenal service. You are hands down the sweetest human being! You made our experience the absolute best we've ever had at any restaurant. You made our autistic son comfortable and in return we had a wonderful relaxing night out. You are an absolute Saint. You deserve the world! I hope you have the greatest time at college. Hopefully we will see you before you leave!I cannot thank you enough!
Me and my girlfriend came in here after looking at the apartment complex across the street hoping we found a new hangout pending we move here. She was skeptical because of some of the bad reviews but I told her that people that leave bad reviews are different. Our server looked high as a kite we ordered a burger to share that took an hour and 20 minutes came out still bleeding the server was blaming on the kitchen saying that they lose tickets and they’re irresponsible…at this point I wouldn’t even have left a bed review but what really upset me is when the manager came back and asked me to check “if the burger was up to my standards” I’m in sales and understand dealing with the public can be difficult but that being said I am extremely understanding and always give the benefit of the doubt. But to have a MANAGER suggest that not wanting to eat a burger that was rare was unreasonable or that it was “my standards” that were unreasonable was just unjustifiable and I will never set foot in this establishment again. All that being said, if you’re dead set on coming here ask for Abby, she bailed our waiter out more than once during our visit.
If I could give 0 stars i would.. The worst experience I have ever had. I had to send my food back 3 times. Once because it was made incorrectly. The second and third time because my burger was raw. Literally. The outside was like a hockey puck. He had just put the same burger back on the grill and burned the outside until I could barely cut it open. I had asked for well done at that point. Not burned to a crisp. But still the inside was raw.We had called upon a manager upon the burger being raw. He attempted to give an excuse why the burger was raw. There is no excuse. He stated he was a chef. No chef in their right mind would give an excuse why they can't cook a burger until it's at least medium well. My husband's was medium well when it came out. As I say.. mine was mooing. We had to call on a different manager because we felt no confidence in this one.My family had already eaten so we paid for their food and left. We then went to Cheddars for mine. It was pathetic. I have been to Bulldog before and never had an issue. But I will never go again. They have lost a customer. Though as a chain they don't care.I see many responses from them here and I am sure I will not see one for my comment. As this is a negative review.The music went from tolerable to eardrum breaking. I have no confidence in Bulldog's management or cooking staff any longer. Don't go to Bulldog. Anywhere else but here. I recommend Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen.

Friday lenten fish and chips dinner.Cocktails and beers were very good.Fish was undercooked.Fries cold and also undercooked.Food was therefore poor.Bit longer in the fryer, could have been great.Below average experience. Pricey.Cannot recommend.Go somewhere else.5 days later, owner replied and offered that I should have let them know of the above and they would have fixed my complaints.No thanks, wouldn't wait another 45 minutes for food that you expect to be prepared correctly the first time.Focus on your quality control, it is what people expect.
This place has decent prices (and daily specials!), fantastic food and a great selection of cold beer, local and otherwise! I've been here and had fantastic service and I've been here and had terrible service, but that's the worst I can say. My favorite is the braised chicken melt, but they also have great pizza, wings, pasta, everything!
Hello,I want to report something disturbing that I overheard waiting for a table early afternoon 3/27/22. I certainly hope this isn't normal for the Bolingbrook location. However I don't intend to return to find out.While waiting to be seated the Hostess was belittled by the Manager. I'm not positive of his name. However, from his own personal appearance, I AM positive he should not be critiquing others. The Hostess remained professional throughout, something that perhaps this "person" could learn, however I doubt it. "Did you do your own makeup? It looks like a 3rd grader did it", the Hostess was visibly shaken by this as would anyone be.I may not be up to date on styles, however this girl didn't appear to be lascivious, lewd, or poorly done. My jaw fell open and I will certainly never bring my daughters or wife back here again. It's no wonder that every Restaurant you see has signs up begging for workers if this is the way that Management treats their staff. Absolutely disgusted and ruined my meal thinking about this.If this is any indication of normal behavior, I expect the "Now Hiring" signs to either be replaced with either big sign on bonus signs, or more likely, "Location Permanently Closed" signs.The food and waitstaff and hostess were fine. The management turned my stomach.
Originally I wasn't too big of a fan of this place and had issues with how they did take out during the pandemic, but over the last few months I've been going there more and enjoying it so I figured I should update my review.They have a good selection of bar food and a great beer selection. Their wings are good and my wife likes their Bang Bang Shrimp wrap.If you go in knowing what to expect, it's a fun bar atmosphere and experience.
