I am not a fan of seafood but my better half is. He got oysters in the half shell and crab legs. The oysters were so huge he was unable to finish his crab legs. Of all the places we have gone this is a first. Usually he can finish it all. I ordered the chicken tenders dinner with sweet potato fries. It was very good but I could not finish it all either. However that is not out of the ordinary for me. I was a little disappointed that I only had 3 things to choose from that were not seafood and they were all chicken. We will return for sure because he was thoroughly satisfied with his seafood. Next time he will most likely order less oysters so he can finish all his crab legs. ? He is thrilled he found a new place with great seafood. Great place, clean and very friendly staff.
For good cheap seafood especially crab it was delicious. Next time I’m definitely going to ask them to use less oil. It was almost to the point of absurdity how much they use! I also don’t recommend the blue crab. I thought it worth trying but now I know less meat & no flavor. Don’t even know why they offer it honestly.
That's the best Cajun food I've had in a long time. Threw me off when they brought the food in a bag Lol. But wow the snow crab and shrimp are insanely good.
I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses so my community may thrive as I invest in them. While Tasty Crab's food may be tasty, the management is rather unpleasant and unprofessional. I reserved the private room for a celebration weeks in advance and was assured the room was available. Following management instructions, I called 3 days prior to my event to confirm the number of attendees so they could determine the number of servers needed. I also confirmed arriving 30 minutes early so I could decorate, and I was assured the room would be ready. Much to my surprise upon arrival, there were 5 families seated in the private room with 2 not yet receiving their food and one preparing to order. I immediately asked why guests not attending my private celebration were in the room. I was told the restaurant is busy and had to use the space I reserved, and I have to wait. Having family from out of town and this being Commencement Weekend, I was extremely dissatisfied with the poor mismanagement, lack of professionalism, and disrespectful communication demonstrated on an exceptionally special day. Seeing my daughter cry broke my heart, and I quickly with the help of family identified another local restaurant who accommodated our large party on the same day. Needless to say, I shall not return to this distasteful establishment.
It's solid. Really.Getting exactly what you order for a reasonable price is what I can say about Tasty Crab. The staff work really well together, so customer service seems great every time we are there. It's local. If you're looking for solid seafood, you're here
I go here pretty often and the food and service are always a delight! Prices seem pretty fair to me and I've never once been disappointed with this place. I'll definitely come back again soon (:

The shrimp were large juicy and flavorful, fantastic flavor Cajun.
Went for Valentines Day and was not disappointed! Service was swift and our waitress was very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and we fed 2 people on $50! 10/10 will dine again!
I would definitely ask for less oil & less seasoning next time. We tried the blue crab to see what it was. You have to eat the body not the legs & it was bland so I don’t recommend that at all. Otherwise great experience. Dungeness crab was bomb, going to try the King next time we go.
