Needs work! Right off highway should be the best service. Surprise to key in own menu items but figured out. Bathrooms were awful. Water leaks from ceiling several places, possibly freon as it was cold inside. Felt good though.Time to invest in people to help with upkeep. The food was good!

Sadly, no waitresses anymore. Its not the same we grew up remembering. You now go up and get your own food and drink, if you are eating inside. You now order on a kiosk near the front doors. Drive-thru is still the same. Hopefully the no waitresses is onlt temporary, but I doubt it. Plenty of parking and jus off Market Street and near Interstate 55.

This was our first visit inside in some years. We have usually done drive thru for some occasional grub and shakes but we have avoided in resturaunt for many places since the pandemic. This was a day worth celebrating and the choice of the one in which we were celebrating so inside was the choice for the day. Much has def changed since we last visited from the fact that you now order from kiosks which def takes some time depending on how many are in your party. It wasn't horribly difficult but again depending on how many are with you it was 5 for us and not much adjustments we had to make to each order so something to keep in mind during your visit. I think placing the order took about 5 mins maybe more. The good thing is it wasn't too busy when we got there for a Saturday afternoon. There are all about 5 kiosks 1 was out of order so 4 available that day. I was able to place my order in peace and without rushing. Took us about 15 mins to get our food which they call out the order number on your receipt and you go pick it up. Drinks are now self serve as well but not much of a selection mostly basic Coke products with some sweet and unsweetened ice tea. There are no condiments available and the only napkins are near the drink station. You also dump your own trash which for me the only bothersome part about that is having 2 large trays and several baskets to dump the trash has small holes I'm assuming to keep you from dumping the tray and baskets but not super convenient when dumping trash either. The staff that we did interact with when getting our food seemed nice but it does make you miss your typical dine in experience. Also to be noted they did remove Mac n cheese not sure what other changes they made but that was one to be mentioned. Overall it was a pleasant experience just very new and something you'd have to get used to for sure.

This place was absolutely disgusting. Stopped in to get a few shakes around 2 pm. There were only about 3 other people in the restaurant at the time. Everything was extremely dirty. The counters were sticky and covered in crumbs and food bits. The floor was dirty and sticky. Even the seat I sat on to wait was sticky. There were plenty of employees that could have been cleaning up, but they were just standing around behind the counter talking and playing on phones. For 2 shakes, it took over 15 minutes, even though no other customers came in or came through the drive thru. I didn't even really want to drink the shake after seeing how dirty the store was. So it ended up being a waste of time and money.

Staff are fast and efficient. The food seems good but with the dinning room and bathrooms as dirty as they are it is probably just a disgusting in the back if not worse. I like the new kiosks makes ordering go faster it seems definitely could work on their cleanliness.

Ordering at a kiosk has become the new normal, which is fine. My daughter had fun using it. However, our experience only went downhill from there. It was hard to find a clean table, the restaurant as a whole looked neglected as far as cleaning goes. The women's bathroom was smelly and disgusting. Our shakes were good, the burgers just fine, but our fries and onion rings were soggy. This was my first visit to a Steak 'n Shake in many years. I hope they all aren't this bad.

Steak and Shake…..it took 45 minutes to get to the drive up window to pay for my food with 5 cars ahead of me. I finally got to the window and the window girl left. I could see the food that was already bagged for customers, getting cold, as she didnt return to the window for 20 minutes. Yes, one of those bags was mine. In her defense, I believe she is running the drive through and also doing the orders at the inside window. Yes she was busy, but dont leave hot food sitting for 15-20 minutes before you give it to the customer! Of course, once I got home to eat it, it was cold…..im sure it was cold when she gave it to me! Wont go back.

I needed a quick bite, so I decided to check this place out. Walked in, and since it is all terminal ordering, it was super unwelcoming as everyone was in the back servicing the drive-through. 2 of the 4 terminals didn't work; a lights were on, but no one was home kind of thing. I finally got ordered, got my drink , sat , and waited, and waited. I didn't really expect it to take 15 minutes to get my food. The onion rings were like warm... Not great at all. The garlic burger was tasty, but they slathered a garlic butter on the top of the bun. I am not really sure who thought that was a good idea, but it was incredibly messy and greasy. The fries were limp and not very flavorful. The guy behind me didn't grab his food right away, and the employee called out his number, seemingly rather annoyed he hadn't gotten his food yet... I'm not really sure why it mattered so much. I'm not really sure I would come back, rather ho-hum experience.

This place is a dump. With 4 people working and only one other table of diners on a Sunday night at 8:30 pm, we could not find one clean table to sit and eat our burgers. The burger was good but hoping I don't get sick.

This is the dirtiest location I have ever visited. The bathroom and floors had not been mopped or cleaned in quite some time. The hamburgers were off flavored as if the meat had been around for a long period. It was located across from the hotel. I told the management no to suggest the location. When I said to an employee the restroom needed attention she said ok but did not go to look. We were the only customers they had.
