Great appetizers
4/8/22So I'm going to start with the good part first. The bartenders were nice and the drinks (old fashioned) we're very good and made to perfection! I ordered the goat cheese balls as an appetizer and they were absolutely amazing!So I ordered the filet which came with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The fillet was fine and nicely prepared and the vegetables were piping hot. Then, I take a bite of the mashed potatoes and they were literally refrigerator temperature cold. Like you could not achieve this level of cold just by leaving food sit out. I don't think I've ever had this happen before at a restaurant as it was like they literally forgot to warm them.So I'm sitting at the end of the bar where all of the servers are coming and going getting drinks including the person who brought my food. Not one single person ever asked me if everything was okay or if the food was right. Not even the person who appeared to be the manager said anything while he stood next to me on two occasions.I ate my steak and vegetables and left this pile of stone cold potatoes untouched thinking that an observant manager or staff person might see this and inquire, but no one did. Eventually a hand came from nowhere and just grab the plate and whisked it away!I will also add that this was near closing time for the kitchen, but like I always say, it doesn't matter whether the restaurant just opened or whether it's getting ready to close, the food should come out the same. Most of the let down with this experience was about the lack of communication customer interaction. This was the first experience so I will definitely give them a try again in the future.
The food is excellent. The salsa that came with the tacos was not. They should make their own salsa. I have no doubt they are more than capable of making a salsa that is of the same quality as their gourmet tacos.
Amazing staff and owners. Great place to meet a friend or have a celebratory get together. Highly recommend if you haven't been!
Couldn’t take photos of my food because I didn’t want to waste time. Potstickers gave me life and the Blueberry Cheesecake made me born again. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Just okay. Tacos were average and cold and the pasta was just average. Bartender seemed rushed and the old fashioned is not good at all.
I ordered salmon tacos tonight. They had a delightfully hearty filet of salmon in each. It was delicious! And the staff is always welcoming and friendly. This is one of my favorite places in town. Well worth the visit!!
Popped in here for lunch. We had burger and fries, and pork belly tacos. It was good bite to eat. Great service!
The Bar set up, menu and decor is great, attractive, and hip. Our server was very attentive and cordial, very friendly bartenders; as well is one server who scratched her buttocks and without washing her hands she was attending tables . The food was the worst experience we have ever had, i am not sure if they have a chef, but it was the Chef's day off; or is just a short order cook that does not know how to cook burgers. My wife had the Woodford Bourbon burger, I had the House Burger. We requested for specific meat temperatures, yet both of the meat patties were small because of the over cooking, very dry and burn that they tasted like cardboard, we were embarrassed to ask for meal replacement or the manager.... but the food was very very bad My wife's burger had no Bourbon taste, no bourbon poached pears, the caramelized onion were so overcook that they tested like wrapping plastic film, almost like the those onions were precooked, reheated and cold down again by the time they made it to our burger; the burger bun was the only thing that was not burn or over cook . My order had lettuce tomatoes and onions to my request, besides the over cook patty the cook had just plain salad lettuce, the big chunks that you see at the romaine's lettuce bottom shoot. Just like my wife's, the burger bun and in my case the Fries were the only good things We are not going back unless we know for sure that they have another cook or the cook they have now has learned how to cook.
The staff is very friendly and professional. It has a nice atmosphere. They have a variety of dishes that are all done right. Never had a bad meal here.
