Classic American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their breakfast with pancakes, sausage, hash browns, eggs and toast are a favorite. Their dinner and lunch also have favorites for the whole family. Conveniently located just off Veterans Parkway, with plenty of parking. Nice, polite and attentive staff.
I placed an online curbside order and arrived to pick up my order within the estimated window of time I was given of when it should've been available and called to let them know I had arrived. 15 minutes went by and no one brought out my food so I went inside. Another 20 minutes passed before anyone even acknowledged that I was there, all with my food sitting out on the counter getting cold. Finally someone acknowledged me and brought the food over, but by then it was completely cold.I understand that you are short-staffed at the moment, but if that is the case then don't make curbside an option for pick-up. Or make a pick-up rack available to carryout customers so that they don't need to wait to be served their food. Something needs to change because the current system is not working.
My husband and I came in for a late breakfast, ordered food and everything was going good until the eggs showed up and they were runny and still very much not cooked. Let the front house manager know and she said that's how over easy eggs are cooked and the tone of voice was essentially calling us stupid and didn't know how to cook eggs. She was very condescending when talking to the cooks to remake the eggs. We use to come here all the time, maybe some effective communications class would help the staff.
The waitress was great. I’m unsure if the cook was new or what. But my girlfriends burboun chicken skillet was drenched in burboun sauce as you can see in the photo we had to take some out into that bowl and it was still drenched… also the chicken breast in her skillet was smaller portion than other Denny’s locations. The egg white build your own omlette I ordered was noticeably smaller than other Denny’s franchises I’ve been to. This Denny’s is obviously owned by a cheap franchisee who isn’t as generous with portion sizes of the main course meat as others are. Avoid this place!
Ordered delivery through the Denny’s website. Got a text message from the driver saying restaurant was out of some sides we ordered, and would not substitute with fries. Store never bothered to call and let us know they were out of food. STILL CHARGED FOR FOOD WE DID NOT RECEIVE. I called the store and got the run around. Is this how you make money, charging people for food they don’t get?
The server did all she could given the circumstances but the breakfast food was god-awful. Denny's used to have a decent breakfast but now it's off our list. Filthy restroom too. STAY AWAY!!!!
This is how my food arrived to me. If a company is ok with for any reason delivering food that look like this. I can only imagine how little care they take to cook prepare and clean. This is disgusting and sad. I’m not rich in this economy it’s important for company’s to understand sometime eatting out is a luxury. I was looking forward to a great breakfast to start my day this is the mess I got. Never again
After the snowstorm hit, Denny's was still open. My son and I had dinner at 7:30 pm here. Just a few other people in the restaurant. We hadn't eaten here since COVID-19 hit. We enjoyed the sampler appetizer and a delicious burger meal. The double patty burgers were so big that both my son and I couldn't finish them. The seasoned fries were delicious. He loved the cookie and ice cream dessert. I took home the caramel apple crisp dessert and the spicy chicken sizzler meal with tortillas. Both were awesome! The service was good. Only issue was that it took almost 30 minutes to get our burgers. We definitely got our money's worth!
Patricia (I hope that’s the right name, it was taken from the receipt) was both, very friendly and attentive. I can’t tell you how enjoyable it is to have such a positive influence so early in the morning! The french toast was delicious (as was the rest of the meal) and I loved the way that the hash browns were thoroughly cooked with a significant amount of crispiness / browning. Kudos to this mornings cook! Everything considered, it’d be hard for me to imagine a more perfect way to start the day!Update: My experience from a couple weeks back left me wanting to make a return visit. BIG MISTAKE! Don’t get me wrong, this mornings ‘service’ was still top notch but the food couldn’t have been greasier and the bacon was burnt to a crisp… to the point that you couldn’t lift a strip without it crumbling. (From my experience, this is also more often a sign that it was cooked in too much grease rather than just being cooked too long, although that may have also been a factor). After this meal, I won’t likely be in as big of a rush to return but am leaving my 5-star rating where it was as the experience two weeks ago definitely warranted it.
Burnt food , horrible waitress, then we got one that was awesome
