Great vibe at this restaurant. Loved the wine we had! Two bottles was plenty for table of three. Food was good and fresh.
My wife and I had our first visit to Baxters and thought very highly of our server and extremely impressed with the wonderful jambalaya and the blacked Grouper dishes. However, the price per dish, $37 and $25 respectively were unexpectedly small. This is the reason for this lower review.

Baxter's management went above and beyond in response to an accidental water spill into the lap of one of our friends. She had to return home to change clothes as a result. Management comped her meal and dessert for the rest of us. Have always felt highly of Baxter's and this experience only confirms that opinion.
Our group had salmon, smothered chicken and grouper tacos and all were excellent. Many more dishes to try next visit.
Baxterâs is our go-to place for celebrations and fine dining. The food is incredible as is the service. They have a gluten-free menu and the waitstaff work well with us regarding a nondairy diet.
Service was a little slow awaiting entrees.
