Went here for the 1st time and it was the worst experience. The 1 and only waitress was super sweet, we waited 10 minutes to be seated finally by an employee that was off work and on her way out the door, 40 minutes later our food was brought out by kitchen staff and everything was cold including meat and Mac n cheese, and the meat truly looked overcooked like it probably was made earlier in the day and sat in a warmer for hours we advised the waitress and just asked for the check she advised she couldn't remove anything from the bill and offered to get the manager, the younglady manger advised she could warm the food but couldn't remove anything as only the owner can authorize that, the table behind us had the same issue and requested she call the owner. If we wanted reheated food we would have ate at home.10 minutes or so later the waitress advised it would be comped and okay to leave and she again apologized
This restaurant came recommended by our hotel. It was excellent. Great food. Really good prices. Nice portions. Very friendly staff!
The chicken was fine, but the brisket was drier than a desert. The brisket was a disgrace to BBQ everywhere. There are probably dozens of people in Bloomington who erroneously think they don't like BBQ when really their perception was just skewed by this dry, crusty meat.Garlic bread was also good.
Everything was pretty average, baked beans were straight out of the can though. I thought the ribs were above average, but my girlfriend disagrees. Get the Okra.
Absolutely love this place. We usually get a slab feast for the three of usToday we decided to get a kids brisket sandwich for my smallest child And a half a chicken the chicken is amazing the kid that bagged my order forgot part of it but Anthony took care of it right away i sure hope business is good for them if people dont know about this place they are missing out i wish i could help spread the word how great they are we are never disappointed and i have a couple of new favorites to add to my order must have of Bloomington see ya's next week??❤
Terrible food for the first time. We ordered about $75 worth and the small catfish fillet portion was burnt, sausage was dried out, portions were small and the staff who took the order was very rushed and short. Never had such bad food from this place.
My first time eating in. I had carryout couple of times. The food was pretty good. I thought the chicken pieces was a little small though. I wanted brisket, but they were out. It was a nice time though.
Wings are fantastic some of the best in town was very shocked. Turukey/smoked sausage very good. If you are looking for fall off the bone ribs( or overcooked ones) you won't get them here, they are true to ribs being done correctly. ( I'm a fall off the bone guy)Still very pleased
Best BBQ in BloNo by a landslide! The service was fantastic, and the diner-like furnishings takes you back to a sweeter time. Highly recommend ... just don't forget to grab your leftovers!
Sugar doughnuts are a plus. Food was really good. Only reason for not getting a five is the price is a little higher than what you get. I will return and like eating here.
