I was really looking forward to getting dinner here tonight. It was a bit of a let down. The ribs were tough and quite dry with hardly any meat on them. ?. The ribs bones were big and 2 of my half rack had no meat on them. The other ones only had thin layer of meat. When the person showed me my order, he went so fast I didn't realize that a side of coleslaw was missing, that went with my pulled pork plate. The saving grace for getting the 4 stars is that the pulled pork was good, the cheesy potatoes and green beans were delicious, as well as the corn bread.I will come again for food, but will never get the ribs again, such a disappointment.

They DO have THE MEATS! Best flavors around!

Food is fantastic and prices are very reasonable. The nachos and smoked bologna sandwich are my favorite stables. The deserts change but I have yet to have a bad one : )

I think Annie's has the best BBQ in town. I recommend also trying a piece of carrot cake if it's available - so good!

Good barbecue. Love the green beans and the mac. If only the buns weren't soo dry every time. The storefront signage is political and divisive, which makes for a tense vibe in the wait area

BBQ pork sandwich was DELICIOUS ? and the cheesy potatoes yum yum!!

Best BBQ in town, hands down. They have a great product, a solid staff and a real following.Check their FB page for updates on hours....they have had to close early for lack of staff or big events in the last few months!

Fresh made daily BBQ! Local and good.If you want desert make sure you get there early. They go fast.

Annie's Eat's is an increasingly-worse-kept secret in the 'city of restaurants.' I have tried a lot of the menu at this point and it is has become both a family favorite dinner and a personal favorite carry-out lunch for the work day. Their approach to cooking proves itself in the food with remarkable flavor, not to mention texture and appearance. Whenever i go in there people are raving to each other about an item i haven't tried yet - last time it was the chocolate cake and pineapple upside-down cake. The mac n cheese is special, probably my favorite in town by a ways, but my personal recommendation to challenge any bbq you want to put up against it is the pulled pork. A total steal at $16/lb last i knew. The service is warm, so that deserves mention, but anyone can provide good service with enough effort - it's the bbq that makes it one of the best 'restaurants' in central illinois.

Called in an order that took an hour. Waited inside for half an hour and watched 9 customers walk in, order, and get their food while I sat there. Only got the sausage and pit sandwiches. They were sad. Asked for everything on it and just got meat and bread. Asked for ribs...didn't get any. Wanted dessert...didn't get any. First impressions are everything. First and last time visiting.
