Highly recommend their veggie sandwich and also dipping your fries in tzatziki sauce ?
Release your inner britches! Rib tips were top notch ? and chicago dogs were standard issue w LARGE portion of fries. Ribs do take a min to cook though!
Food was fine. Portion sizes are bigger than Portillos, but the food cost more and Portillos quality might be better... A larger menu though. If you are looking for options or a larger meal this could be the place for you..
Bought chicken Ceasars salad today for lunch, the chicken is so hard and not fresh. So upset, this is the first time I had a complain with their food.
This place has some really good food. And the employee that took my large order, was very polite and respectful.Everyone should stop by and taste these great foods.?????
Good fast food but please Lucky Dog (16th St. location), spend some money on a better speaker system at the outdoor order board. Also, create an app so customers can pay online while waiting in line to pickup their food in the drive thru line. The line would move much faster. Other than that. Have a good summer.
Lucky Dog is a local fast-food chain that Bob Houpy, his brother Joe and cousin John opened in Melrose Park in 1984. They opened another location in Berwyn in 1994 and since then have added restaurants in Cicero and Broadview. Located at 7151 16th Street, at Harlem, the Berwyn outpost is open from 10 to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. It features hot dogs, burgers, chili, Italian beef and sausage, BBQ chicken, BBQ baby back ribs, gyros, soups and Italian ice, all available for dine-in, drive-through and delivery. Where do we start? My wife enjoyed a bowl of chili and a fresh toasted Italian sandwich with imported Polish ham, smoked turkey, salami, Swiss cheese and Italian dressing on wheat bread. She washed it down with a home-made lemon-flavored Italian ice. I had a big appetite and I was eager to sample as much of the tantalizing menu as possible. Start with a bowl of chili. Then a Lucky Dog, a 100 percent pure Vienna beef hot dog with mustard, relish, onions, tomato, pickle and sport peppers on a steamed poppy seed bun. With fries. For an encore, I consumed a double cheeseburger with 1/4 pound of 100 percent pure beef charbroiled and served on a steam poppy seed bun with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, onion, tomato and pickle. I washed it all down with a large chocolate milk shake. Next time I'll sample the corned beef on rye with mustard and pickle and the Italian beef on French bread. Why did it take so long to discover this place?
Star ratings. 1 bad. 2 below average. 3 average / neutral. 4 good. 5 excellent.Standard local dog joint. Good food. Love that with a dog you get fries wrapped up with it.
I ordered & paid for a small cheese fry and super taco. I got a small fry and super taco. No cheese on my fries or even a cup of cheese. The taco honestly wasn't even that great. Barely any toppings mostly just ground beef. Super disappointed for $9. Should've gone to taco bell for what I got.
I ordered an Italian beef, the meat was dry even though I asked for it to be dipped, that didn't help. I also ordered cheese fries, I expected actual cheese on the fries, I ended up with a small container of cheese. If you ask for a Coke, they'll give you Pepsi ??!
