The food was delicious, the cocktails were very tasty, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and they have a super-cute outdoor patio in the back. Highly recommend!
First of all, can I please state for the record that I am so thrilled that Berwyn has some great upscale restaurants adding to the mix here. I saw La Malquerida advertised in the Berwyn magazine as a new business. I had even ran past it a few times, so it was on my to do list. I was so excited when a friend wanted to have a girly catch-up dinner and I threw it out to her: do you wanna try this new place? We made reservations through the website and I'm so glad that we did because while it wasn't crowded when we walked in, almost every table was full as we left! We ordered five appetizers among the two of us and also sampled their drinks. Everything that we ordered was delicious. I really love the hospitality as well - probably five people came up to us throughout the night to check that we were doing OK! This is a really nice place. I'm so glad it opened here. While us Berwyn folks are regular/casual people, I would definitely say to dress up a little more. You can see that a lot of people were considering this like a date night and people definitely wanted to match the ambience - which was beautiful. Serious bonus points for the adorable outdoor patio, which reminded me of being in a restaurant in Chicago. I'm bringing my husband next time. This is definitely a great spot!!

Came across this place on IG & the 45 minute drive was worth it! Good vibes, great food, & amazing staff! Drinks were super good, cute & fun. Food presentation was a 10/10! Make sure to order #latoxica. Thank you for the hospitality! 100/10 would recommend!
