Very delicious but extremely overpriced crepes and paninis. I came here with a few friends today for one of their birthdays and to say the least I was extremely disappointed. I have heard great things about the vibe, atmosphere, and food at this place but definitely will not be coming back. They have an 18% gratuity added to party’s of 4 or more which was never mentioned to us and I luckily noticed it the moment I read the menu. When we were ordering It felt like they were trying to upsell us on every item just to get us to spend more money. I decided to ask for a water and of course the first thing they suggested was bottled water I had to literally ask 3 times to just be given plain tap water which they told me was unfiltered. I will not be coming back and definitely not recommending this place to anyone I know. My friend almost tipped 40% on her birthday but I luckily asked out waitress if the gratuity was included and she hesitantly said yes.
I went today with 2 friends. The place is très chic. It's so very pretty. A French provincial and shabby chic decor. So pretty!! But... The service was sooo tremendously slow. My friends food arrived cold not even warm. We asked for them to heat it up in the microwave. My eggs were barely warm. My other friend ordered the churroS. But it was only ONE for the price of $9.99. We all expected at least 2 as it said churroS. We had to ask for the cream for coffee 4 times. We asked for glasses of water. They brought us bottled water which of course appeared on the bill. I honestly don't remember if it specified on the menu about the water but they should clarify when people ask for water. We ended up spending $12 on water which was unintended on our part. They included the gratuity at 18%. The cold food and very slow service did not warrant an 18% gratuity. I usually let small things slide as i have been in the food/restaurant industry for over 15 years but this was disappointing. I was really looking forward to the food and service. I would not recommend nor go back. If I had to recommend a place that had cafe de olla and has similar menu I'd say go to La Catedral. Cafe de olla is bigger and better portions for same prices. Way better!
Everything is so cute! Went here for brunch for my friend's 40th birthday and we kept gasping at all of the delicious food, drinks, and desserts coming out of the kitchen. Every single thing served up was lovely, delicious, and Instagram worthy.. down to the water which had frozen rosebud ice in it!The Birthday Crepe was crazy good that I would just come for that alone even if it wasn't my birthday. The flowers were even edible! Taking a cute selfie in their bathroom is a MUST. Loved this place and will definitely be back :)
Charming restaurant! Lovely decor. Friendly staff. You are seated at beautiful tables and given little glasses of iced lemonade and marshmallow pastries. French crepes both savory and sweet are offered as well as sandwiches with meat or veggies. Egg dishes with a Mexican influence, bagels, lox, coffees, cappuccino, pastries - all beautifully prepared with a delightful presentation. Good for small groups or romantic meal for two.
I tried this place twice. The flavor is ok, nothing outstanding.Prices are ok too.My complaint is that they make you pay for water.
Picked up lunch, the place looks very inviting. The waitress was very friendly. My coworker and I enjoyed our panini and crepe. Will definitely have to go there and eat. Thanks Frank!
Been here a few times and never disappoints. Brung my mom here for the first time today and she liked the place, food and service.
This place is very unique in it's decor and concept. The cafe de olla was exactly what it should be, heavy on the canela spice and lots of piloncillo. Los huevos divorciados and chilaquiles were good but if i may help with a suggestion, don't serve those hash browns with your meals. It's not needed with the meal and honestly prefer frijoles or rice if the option is available. The waitress was prompt and attentive. We will definitely be going back to try their other items on the menu.
The decor is so cute, the service was great and the food was delicious but the portions were really small compared to most restaurants. They also don't have a parking lot.
I honestly don’t know where to start. The food was “disgusting” and the place was very unprofessional. The female owner of the restaurant was walking around and talking on her phone without a mask. That made me feel really uncomfortable given the fact that she was literally talking loud and possibly leaving residues on everyone’s food while she was walking. Honestly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been in my entire 24 years of living. I wanted to take my girlfriend in a nice special romantic restaurant so I seen this on Instagram and honestly I regret it so much. It’s just the hype but the food is garbage…
