A life long customer, grew up in the neighborhood. I’ve been gone for about 10 years and recently returned to town and HAD to come to favorite ice cream shop!!!!The service was so awful. They all just screamed at everyone and not one bit of sincerity for any of our business.We were first in line but it quickly grew to a packed parking lot. Good for them right!Everyone else got their ice cream and here we are just standing there. Good for us right! ???♀️My sundae was good.The 2 large chocolate malts were worse than watered down chocolate milk.I’m beyond disappointed and even though I used to love their diner food; their awful service and bad attitudes, ruined ice cream, I have no interest in trying it or EVER RETURNING!!!!! ???
About maybe 2 or 3 years ago. I did a review on white cottage expressing my concerns etc. That review got a reply back I believe from the father/owner. Over the years I have seen him and his son (I believe) etc dedication to the business and I am impressed. That review has now been removed due to the improvement/changes I have witness concerning the establishment. Instead of my wife and children patronizing the business without me as in the past. I since then enjoy white cottage several time a month with my family. The food and treats are still delicious. The dining environment is pleasant. Parking is not bad it's far more space than before still can be congested at times. But that's to be expected when the food and ice cream is so tasty. The Lords hand is truly upon that establishment...They are going to have to expand even more. Nice clean environment despite a few residents that live on Lebanon that let their trash linger and blow all over the place. They are keeping the parking area , outside dining area clean. So I recommend white cottage to anyone looking for a nice family Oriented diner (check em out). Enjoy
We have always loved white cottage. Today was our first meal since they reopened. They forgot one order of ice cream and then forgot the strawberries when they brought it and one of the cottage burgers was made plain even though fully loaded was requested. Food was tasty as always but disappointed in their inability to follow through on orders they have taken. This wasn’t during the big dinner rush either, so they didn’t have that as an excuse for the I attention to details.
Love the Chocolate Lollapalooza and the varieties of treats they have. Just delicious!!!
Burger order was wrong and the bread wasn't toasted but full of grease and soggy. Fries were over cooked and cold at the same time but the onion rings were good. We even tipped for a carry out so I didn't think to check the order before we leftlike I should have. My bad. IF we go back it will only be for the ice cream. I'd rather get Freddys burgers. Staff was nice and place was clean but the burger/fry disaster was enough to put me off for a good long while.
Very friendly all variety of ice-cream 10 out of 10. I give the food a 7 out of 10
The food here is fantastic. Every-time we go the workers are friendly and the food is always hot and fresh. Definitely recommend.
Was very disappointed with the exterior service tonight. The two girls working these windows need additional training. One worked here last year but if people outside order food, shouldn't she ask them to step aside so she can continue to serve others wanting ice cream. These girls took food orders then never came back to the windows until these orders were fulfilled. 2 Girls working inside counter were putting out orders left and right so everyone outside was going inside. Took over an hour to place our order outside. Saw a handful of people walk away and leave.
My husband and I have been going here all of our life, my kids love it! Definitely worth the trip! You can even take a pint of their ice cream home!
I've been going every summer since I was a little girl. The ice cream is ALWAYS amazing and the staff very friendly. The lines are always long but we never mind waiting. Hot food is always good too! I can't wait to bring my little boy this summer.
