Good food, service was prompt. About $10 per person min for an entree. Place is a bit dark and gloomy, but not terrible.
Food was hot and very good and flavorful. Had the lunch special. Taquitos Belleville. Was spiced right, just right on the heat.
MUST TRY. Isn't rated properly. The cheese dip has a little kick but is a very generous portion and delicious. We had a chunky beef chimichanga and a carnitas street taco. The meat was SUPER tender and flavorful in both dishes. Service was on point. Good house margarita and the prices cannot be beat. The fried ice cream is tasty! Eat local.
This place used to be amazing years ago and now it’s just meh. I understand the pandemic, inflation, etc, but nothing about this place deserves a great review. Staff is pushy/impolite, food was cold, of average taste, not worth the price. Save your self the trip and venture down to Caseyville/Collinsville area where the good stuff is at!
I order from this restaurant all of the time using a delivery service. The food is always exceptional! I default to the chimichangas, but have tried many of the various chicken entrees and have never been disappointed.
We've been going to Margarita's and its predecessor restaurant Laredo's since 2003 and love it. It's our regular Thursday night place, and we've never been disappointed. Good food, great people, and lots of food for the money.

Very good service and our food was delicious! Don't make the mistake of going to the Mexican restaurant across the street. That place was awful. If you want good food and good service come here!
